Two road contests for the Eagles this week.

We have not fared well against Coach Huger even with significantly more talented teams, as they've won three straight against us and four of the last five. The MAC East preseason favorites are starting to play a little bit more like what was expected, having won four straight since dropping its MAC opener against Kent State. For what its worth, Richaun Holmes (currently averaging 13 pts 8 reb for the Sacramento Kings) will be in the "nest" for a pregame clinic. I'd expect there to be a capacity crowd because of it.

As mentioned in last week's thread, Miami looks like it could be one of the few remaining games that we can be optimistic about. Can preview them a bit later in the week.

Line: BGSU -8.5
O/U: 133.5

Smaller spread than I expected. Would take BG by double digits. We’ve been bad on the road and Huger has owned us. Staring 0-6 in the face.

Turner will score 25 points or more! BGSU 78 E Mich 57 F, next Miami, and we also lose..........Miami just shocked Kent St! 0-7..........then we might lose the next 4 games........this team doesn't show up for 10 minutes in every game, gets down by a lot, and decides to make it respectable at the end..........Please bring back Earl Boykins.........this basketball program needs a buzz of some kind, and that's our hope..........No one else can do that!

What I hate to see: BG has the 103rd-best offensive efficiency rating... EMU has the 343rd-ranked offensive efficiency.

Hopefully we can actually convert from the free throw line tonight. I have a feeling we will stick around and be somewhat close, but how close we are in the end will be dependent upon if we can actually make our freebies. AND limit their shooters from downtown.

Obviously easier said than done... but one can only hope.

Well like our head coach said at the last postgame press conference. "We had a perfect play designed and the player decided to do something different". Right on Murph, you have a great offensive strategy but all of these different players over the years simply have screwed you with their incompetence and lack of compliance. Mr. Wetherbee give this man an extension! Or perhaps you secretly once again have already done so.

Spottsville with a nice little pump fake leading to an easy basket. He’d probably be decent if he looked for his own shot a little more.

Good start. Crisp play (except an air ball). Good defense.

BG gets a trey on a 'bank is open' shot.

I'll give the EMU team credit for playing hard.

We are doing better on the glass. Still too many silly turnovers. Jalen King looked like he had never dribbled with a basketball before.

Good game so far. Chad indicated that Montero and Binilli have injuries to their right hand or elbow, respectively.

We're playing like we did earlier in the year! Hard and with pride! I thought this team would lose by 20 tonight! They've a lot of talent on BGSU! Unlike Ohio U, so I'm happy we're competing!

Great effort defensively so far. Especially from Toure, who looks like he has a little more energy than he has in weeks.

I agree, and we're shooting 59 percent from the field for the first 14 minutes of a half.........haven't been able to say that for awhile! Great effort!

Never seen a team travel as much as we do.

Great defensive performance, coupled with a turnover-riddled mess on offense. Sounds like a typical Murphy game.

Good half from Spottsville. I like how he attacked the basket. Needs to at least be a threat offensively, and he showed he can do that.
