Easy to look at numbers and allow stats to determine your conclusion.....
I will try and explain as simply as I can, believe me, It's easy to understand how the majority sees Precious as the BEST player....Statistically, rn that is true and is the case..... BAD teams can have a physically gifted & dominant player, basically load the stat sheet......At the end of the day, that team is still considered a BAD team if that team can't bring the intangibles together to WIN.....
Precious have game/abilities, however does NOT possess the skillet to get others involved (thus is key)..... DJ has a very similar skill set as Precious, as well as he has that element to get others involved based off of his action.....This team (without DJ) would continue to suffer and Precious would have ASTRONOMICAL stats.....Whose prophecy does that fulfill, as no one actually benefits but Precious and even he is disgusted with playing his heart out, nonetheless the result is still a loss....
DJ on the other hand, is such a unique talent as a complete player that he has the ability to be what Precious is and more.....As a matter of fact, as opposed to Precious, it wouldn't be a bad idea to make sure that the offense runs through DJ....Just to get him MORE involved....I would trust that every day of the week.....This team will ONLY go as far as DJ takes it.....It's NOT Precious as the BEST player/most critical component, as you can't run an offense through Precious, hence, the other players will struggle and it's a detriment
So you are making the case that he is the best player on our team? Smh but I'll have whatever it is you are having please.

Most of us thought you were saying DJ was 3rd best, and making a case for Lomax. You doubled down, lol. (You would have had a better case as DJ at #3 then you would at #1.)
Precious gets others involved by cleaning up their messes. Defensively and offensively. He is also becoming very skilled at pick and roll. No, he's not going to be the guy racking up assists like a guard. But make no mistake, he does make everyone better. Currently our defensive efficiency is the one thing remaining at an elite level, and keeping us relevant. Where would that be without Precious?
Alo has been our #2 guy at this point in the season, but DJ will be our 2nd best in another couple of weeks.

Dandridge made some really good plays yesterday going to the goal. and Tyler has gotten us back in a few games when we were behind in the second half with some timely 3's. He played really hard against USF.

I would go with LQ as #2. DJ disappears too often.

That might be true since he came down with the flu.

RE: Ohhhh.....BTW.....DJ is NOT
I think the list of best player is still an open book, but Precious is definitely at the top. After that it changes from day to day. Hard to judge when DJ and Damion have been sick, but they certainly factor in. Long way to go, and I hope some guys step up and really put a stamp on their value. Clearly, though, and at the risk of mentioning "him" again, it is pretty clear how important JW was to this team.

I thinks DJ’s 18 points disproves the OP,
Let’s play this game the rest of the season,
DJ win 60% of the time

Dayum Guys, this is really a stupid thread. This is a team and it is not a one man team. If you have a beautiful car and think the engine is the most important part then just remember that it goes nowhere without the tires, etc etc. And after going through that each and every part that it takes to make that car perform then remember again that it does not go anywhere unless you have the keys to open the doors. This is a team thing and no one part makes the team go without each and every player providing their strengths to it's success.
