Good Gawd! we can't shoot FTs to save our lives. Every year Tech leaves several W's on the table due to horrible FT shooting. Looks like this team will be no different.

Now since only two road teams have won, we also need to look at the “holding serve” standings. (Wins minus home games played). Zero means you’re “on serve”, and 10 teams still are.
+1 is “up a break” (won a road game)
-1 is “down a break” (lost a home game)

UTEP will be glad to hear that after going 1-4 in the last 5 games (with those five games being decided by margins of: 1,2,3,4&5 points).

Fun fact #2 on UTEP: unbeaten at home (8-0). Winless on the road (0-5).

Miners will very graciously welcome the Eagles to El Paso Thursday. This one *just might* not be as close as UTEP’s recent games...

just look at our scores to date...we really are that bad....the TT score was a fluke.....they couldn't make dick that day....

we're 1-11 and earned every dayum one of 'em....

you guys should handle us unless you only put 4 on the floor....end even then it would be iffy....

Won’t surprise me at all if the Toppers go 0-2 on the road this week. Life is tough on the road.

You'd have been better served if the order of your games was reversed. The Blazers are a bit undisciplined, but are big, play hard-nose basketball and will leave your guys bruised and sore.

We better win these 2, because end of month we have Marshall back to back...We all know that will be 2 beat downs 50+ for sure...

Oh, the Toppers don't need to worry about us! It is interesting that (I assume) all teams have a 3 game homestand followed immediately by a 3 game road trip. We get WK at the end of ours / they get us at the start of theirs...going to be a lot of games decided by FT's....and we def need to be better.

Looks like the UAB/WKY and UAB/MU games will be on Stadium.

Bored and haven't finished my last beer of the night yet, so I got to looking up series info for Thursday's Florida International at North Texas game.

-FIU and UNT have met on the court 25 times (per Sports-Reference).
-UNT leads the series 17-8.
-The two played 3 times last season with FIU winning two games at home and UNT winning in the CUSA Tournament.
-UNT has won 4 in a row at the Super Pit.

I predict that LA Tech loses at UTSA tomorrow (Thursday) night. Although Tech holds a 12-5 advantage in the series, LA Tech never plays well against UTSA, and the Roadrunners are much tougher at home than on the road. Plus, the Roadrunners are desperate for a conference win after dropping their first two conference games on the road last weekend. This is a recipe for disappointment for Tech fans.
