My right now to the minute
1 LSU vs 4 Ohio St
2 Clemson vs 3 Oklahoma

BUT if Wisconsin can get this up to 21-28 points even I think they go instead of Ohio ST.

Well the Buckeyes stormed back with a dominating 27-0 second half they almost certainly kept their #1 seed.

1 Ohio State (13-0) vs 4 Oklahoma (12-1) // probably Fiesta
2 LSU (13-0) vs 3 Clemson (13-0) // probably Peach

My assumption on Bowls is based on best attendance. Midwesterners happily go to Arizona, Southerners happily converge on Atlanta. But who knows with the committee

Rose: Oregon (11-2) vs Wisconsin (10-3)
Sugar: Georgia (11-2) vs Penn State (10-2)
Orange: Virginia (9-4) vs Florida (10-2)
Cotton: Baylor (11-2) vs Memphis (12-1)

We'll see tomorrow

My picks
Peach 1 LSU vs 4 Oklahoma

sorry but in a game where OSU needed to match what LSU did(or come close) they didn't.
Rose- Oregon vs Wisconsin
Sugar- Georgia vs Baylor
Orange Va Tech vs Florida
Cotton Penn St vs Memphis

RE: Fearless NY6 predictions thread ....
The only unknowns are who the committee ranks higher between LSU/Ohio State and Wisconsin/Penn State.

Delany made it clear the last time it was a close call that the Big Ten expects the Rose Bowl to take the higher-ranked team. No reason to think the Rose Bowl would defy Delany now given that they didn't last time.

Theoretically possible, but unlikely IMO, that the committee would place Utah, Auburn, or Alabama (IMO Auburn has the best argument) ahead of Wisconsin or Penn State.

With how well Wisconsin played, I think that's a done deal for Wisconsin to Rose. Sets up for Florida going to Orange Bowl I think which helps that given what the ACC is bringing(I think VT sneaks back into top 25 ahead of Virginia and goes to the Orange). Penn St then to Cotton Bowl.

Absolutely no chance after how well Wisconsin played tonight that they drop below Auburn. Frankly, Wisconsin IMO is a lock for the Rose Bowl and Penn St will be going to the Cotton Bowl.

Well this is all guesswork including your guess that Wisconsin won’t drop past Auburn. They might or might not. Wisconsin’s ranked wins are Iowa and Michigan. Auburn’s ranked wins are Oregon and Alabama - both higher ranked than Wisconsin’s. Wisconsin’s losses are twice to Ohio St (one a beatdown by 31 and another where they disappeared in the 2nd half) and to 6-6 Illinois. Auburn lost to LSU @ LSU by 3, to Florida @ Florida by 11, and to Georgia by 7.

On paper, IMO, Auburn is the better team.

Penn St has 2 losses (@ ranked Minnesota and @ Ohio St by 11.) Both of Wisconsin’s losses to Ohio St were by more than 11.

I think Penn St looks to be a better pick.

Again, all just guessing.

I think the the Alabama schools cancelled each other out. Then you have Wisconsin who didn't play PSU. But they have quality blowout wins on there, notably @Minn and vs UM, and a close home win vs Iowa.

Meanwhile Auburn had a way tougher schedule, going @Fla on a strong year for them. The home loss against UGa may do them in. They also struggled a lot of D vs Bama. I would go Wisconsin but it's a coin flip. At least its not for 4 vs 5.

Fiesta Bowl: #1 Ohio State vs #4 LSU
Peach Bowl: #2 Clemson vs #3 Georgia

Rose Bowl: Penn State vs Oregon

Orange Bowl: Florida vs Virginia

Cotton Bowl: Memphis vs Utah

Sugar Bowl: Oklahoma vs Auburn

Fiesta #1 Ohio St. vs. #4 Oklahoma
Peach #2 LSU vs. #3 Clemson
Rose Bowl Penn St. vs. Oregon
Orange Bowl Florida vs. Virginia
Cotton Bowl Memphis vs. Auburn
Sugar Bowl Baylor vs. Georgia

Edit after Pac 12 ccg
Utah falls below Oregon. Auburn might be a cap on Oregon the way Michigan was on Notre Dame. But then Auburn-Oregon was a very close game so they might jump Oregon over Auburn. Mostly likely Utah falls behind Auburn and Alabama. Maybe Michigan as well. Those last couple of NY6 slots are still up for grabs. But no reason to change my prediction. Didn't think Utah would win.

Given yesterday's results, Wisconsin probably makes the Rose and LSU is #1 and plays OU in the Peach while Clemson goes west. And Penn St. replaces Auburn in the Cotton after getting knocked out of the Rose by Wisconsin.

RE: Fearless NY6 predictions thread ....
I was hoping four SEC teams would make the NY6, but now it's looking more like three from the B1G and SEC:

LSU ... Peach
Georgia ... Sugar
Florida .... Orange

Ohio State ... Fiesta
Wisconsin .... Rose
Penn State ... Cotton

Just as there is no reason to expect Penn State to jump Florida, there's no reason to think Auburn jumps Penn State.

Even though Wisky should drop behind Penn State and go to the Cotton Bowl, they won't.

You guys are acting like Georgia is some type of powerhouse teAm

Since the SEC loves the transitive properties

Michigan beat Notre Dame by 30. Georgia barely squeaked by. The same Michigan team got destroyed by Wisconsin.

Georgia had a much worse loss.

All evidence points to the fact that Wisconsin was a much tougher opponent for Ohio State than Georgia was

Almost no evidence did.

Wisconsin lost by 31 the first time they played Ohio St.. Wisconsin lost to Illinois.

Georgia had 4 common opponents with LSU:
Georgia beat Vandy by 24, LSU by 28
Georgia beat Auburn by 7, LSU by 3
Georgia beat Florida by 7, LSU by 14
Georgia beat A&M by 6, LSU by 43

That is hilarious. No evidence points to that.

Georgia probably has twice as many NFL players as Wisconsin.

Baylor surprised me. They’ll probably get the Cotton over Auburn.

If those happen as predicted, both LSU and Baylor will make repeat appearances at their CCG site.

That would put Auburn in the Citrus vs. Michigan and Alabama in the Outback, I suppose.

Wisconsin = do more with less.

Georgia = Do less with more.

I'll take the Wisconsin way of doing things over Georgia.

Let's go ahead and throw Michigan, Texas A&M, Texas and Notre Dame in there with Georgia while we are at it.

Georgia has done absolutely nothing to show improvement since the Notre Dame game...zero. It's why I picked LSU to destroy them. You claimed that was impossible because of all the Georgia talent. You're right, they do have a ton of talent, but the program has never shown us they are elite. If they are elite then so is Wisconsin.

I’m throwing up in my mouth reading this turnabout the committee is apparently saying about Wisconsin and how they shouldn’t be penalized for the thirteenth game. Well, ****, you don’t say? Who got shafted out of a playoff spot when they got destroyed in their thirteenth game for a team who didn’t play one?
