His number is 86 ranking! 4 stars start at 90! Hopefully, we can sign all 3!
Or you go back and see how many offers Glass III Arthur Jackson Latu or others got. I view Petry has a offensive guard with TE speed remember Gardner? You redshirt him a year and bulk him up.
Very valid points regarding those players! Hopefully, I see at the bowl game!
Okay. I'll try to add another dimension to the discussion.
Lest I be wrong, we do better with JUCO SKILL players than say linemen.
Well we did well with Dawson and Granger as Defensive tackles but generally your point is valid
its easier to go shopping for a juco wr to just plug and play than a lineman

Great point. Our run defense became much better when we added Dawson and Granger in 2016.

I can't necessarily disagree with that premise Steve. Glass, Bailey and Jackson have all been wonderful.
I just wonder how much the recruiting focus in recent years has affected this. Our CEO or head coach establishes a recruiting budget and we proceed from there. Four years ago, we did not have nearly the receiving corps that we have now, which I believe was the result of Creighton establishing an increased budget level for such prospects.
If we can keep Drummond, Williams and Beydoun, I assume Coach will increase the available scholarship budget to the trench positions, that we have a dearth of talent today.

Not a huge surprise, we're his only D1 offer, the rest were FCS! Next should be Petry! Davies has plenty of D1 offers!

drummond, williams, and beydoun are the best trio of returning non juco wrs weve had in maybe a decade?

I would say you are correct Dan! Unfortunately the transfer portal exists and I hope that none of these guys decide to explore it.

Wait......Why would any of the WR's consider transferring? Did I miss something? They would be silly to look into that. Yes, Glass is gone this year but Hutch is a very capable QB who throws the ball to luntiple WR's the way Glass does. PLus, we don't have a big history of kids transferrring out. Where did the transfer talk come from?

Petry Committed today. OL from Germany and by way of Ellsworth CC. Good size kid. Always good to see a lineman commit.
I like the OL we have coming back next yr (Sow, Donnelon, Dooley, McAdams, Howie).

Petry might be a guy that redshirts so that he can get bigger. Being from Germany I wonder how much American football experience he has.

Fingers crossed Nazir Sy, or Josh Davies commit!!!!!!! Those two would be difference makers! Getting Petry and Hartsfield I expected, since they didn't have any D1 offers, only FCS offers! I'm happy they both are on board though! Welcome to EMU!
