After visiting EMU???? What was he thinking?

Is there something we don't know (e.g., family, academic program, etc.).

We get the FCS offer players to commit, and lose one of the 2 guys who has multiple D1 offers to AKRON! We dropped too 107th in the nation as well! Creighton has to start winning battles for recruits!!!!!! Why does Ohio St consistently beat Michigan?????

Probably better chance to start rather than earn a starting job

UMass for Petry is not FCS

I apologize, I did miss the UMass offer! Akron has another kid from Butler CC who also committed to Akron as well! They visited together, and E Mich didn't offer his friend!

To quote a now forgotten coach "Other schools offer scholarships besides us". CC and his staff know how to mold a team out of unknowns that much should be obvious now. While I am not happy about the recruiting rankings I like what I've seen on the field the past 3 to 4 years. Let the man work.

I like the OL we have coming back next yr (Sow, Donnelon, Dooley, McAdams, Howie).

Great! 4 to Play 3

Pardon for being Naive, but what does the "4 for 3" mean? Assuming this deals with eligibility, but does this mean he can redshirt a year and then have 3 years of playing eligibility?

Somehow we migrated this discussion over to the 2019 thread.

I watched some of the River Rouge win last night. Xavier Smith is tiny and I didn't see much of Carter. RR has a lot of other players that look D1 and their coach played at EMU. Hopefully CC and staff are developing a pipeline from that HS.

RE: 2020 Football Recruiting
BTW, when are we going to start getting some of the many transfers out there? (I haven't seen much but at Howard, a FCS, they hired a new coach and things went VERY badly. Coach forced out. They have 17 players listed in the transfer portal per an article I read, including Caylin Newton, Cam's younger bro).

Some successful teams have been able to get transfers, esp. QBs, to make a big difference in their season.

EMU has not been much of a player in CFB transfers under C.C. I would think a grad transfer is a great way to fill holes. Bring in a kid who may be graduating from his college this month and bring him to EMU in January.

They are Parker was in the same suite as me last night for the HS hoops games. He was there watching RR and I think 3 of his football players are in the team. He was a huge part in us getting Grissom.
