Wasn't the Mueller Investigation about Russian interference in our election?

NARRATOR: Why, yes, it was.

So why would we need a witness in that investigation about a Russian misinformation campaign in Ukraine?

NARRATOR: We didn't.
Uhh, because she MUST have evidence that RUSSIA was doing the "misinformation" and NOT the Ukraine? You're struggling. Considering she is "Rock Star" she could have ended the investigation after one interview with her and they would have needed to drag it out over 2 years.

What a shocker.....which is why she was so incredibly thin skinned and defensive of Soros in her testimony.

I dont the get the "rock star" stuff. I mean, if talking with an english accent is all it takes then I imagine most anyone who's ever been in a Harry Potter movie can nail down a high position in the State Department. Did anyone bother to actually listen to the idiocy the women was spouting?

When the Russian tanks were actually rolling and the real danger to Ukraine was immediate----the brilliant Ms Hill was AGAINST supporting Ukraine with deadly weapons (like the Javalin anti-tank missile). Then, when we have basically a cease fire of sorts in place and the situation has calmed (as in Russian tanks are no longer rolling)---Ms Hill is FOR deadly force and screams that every moment we delay places Ukraine in even more dire peril. Wait...what? Is there a massive formation of Russian T90's rolling across Ukraine toward Kiev that we arent being told about? Im amazed that not a single person bothered to point out just how stupid this all sounds when placed in the context of the actual situation on the ground in Ukraine when each of Ms Hill's ever shifting positions on Ukrainian aid were held. She's not a "rock star" at all---she's just another "we are much smarter than everyone else" State Department Deep State Cog that seems to think she and her buddies, should be setting US foreign policy---not the transient bumbling elected presidents who just bugger up all her brilliant "rock star" strategies (like leaving Ukraine defenseless when Russian tanks were actually shooting at Ukrainian troops).

RE: "The clown show known as an “impeachment inquiry” is getting more comical"
The impeachment farce is basically a Jewish affair, noted the Israeli daily Haaretz. The soul and engine of the impeachment is Adam Schiff, ‘Shifty Schiff’ in Trump’s colourful expression. His name brings to mind the Jewish banking house of Schiff, top Jewish aristocracy of money and media. The second man is Greedy Goldman, or Daniel Sachs Goldman, the chief interrogator in the impeachment hearings. Sachs Goldman or Goldman Sachs, another top Jewish name and bank. The third Jew in the heart of the impeachment is infamous George Soros. Haaretz could add that the top witnesses for prosecution are also Jewish, the bizarre Gordon “Zelensky loves your ass” Sondland, or Vindman the Spy. Trump would never dare to notice this remarkable coincidence, concludes Haaretz. Only antisemites would. https://www.haaretz.com/us-news/.premium...-1.8131087

Instead of pointing this open conspiracy out and calling the Americans to save the Republic, President Trump appealed to the Jewish sense of gratitude. He bestowed now his third fabulous gift to the Jewish state, namely recognition of the settlements for-Jews-only on the stolen Palestinian land, after he recognised Jerusalem and the Golan Heights. Or perhaps the fourth, if you’d count his withdrawal out of Iran agreement. He legalised the settlements by the unilateral decision of the superpower, something the Israeli governments never could or dared. If the US were be as omnipotent as it was twenty years ago, that would be the end of Oslo and Geneva agreements, and practically the end of attempts to create a State of Palestine alongside with Israel, something Israeli nationalists wanted all along. With the US engulfed in the cold civil war, it could lead to self-de-legitimisation of the US, or to collapse of Two States paradigm. It is apparently a huge gift to the Jewish state.

RE: "The clown show known as an “impeachment inquiry” is getting more comical"
Quote:House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) used his closing remarks in Thursday's hearing to lay out the case for impeaching President Trump and plead for Republicans to look beyond their party, arguing that the president's actions toward Ukraine go "beyond anything Nixon did."

Schiff argued that Trump's abuse of power was clear and on a more significant scale than the Watergate break-in that eventually led to the impeachment of former President Richard Nixon.

"The difference between then and now is not the difference between Nixon and Trump, it’s the difference between that Congress and this one," Schiff said during a lengthy and impassioned speech. "And so we are asking ... where are the people who are willing to go beyond their party to look to their duty?"

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) used his closing remarks in Thursday's hearing to lay out the case for impeaching President Trump and plead for Republicans to look beyond their party, arguing that the president's actions toward Ukraine go "beyond anything Nixon did."

Schiff likened Trump's insistence that there was "no quid pro quo" to Nixon's infamous proclamation of "I'm not a crook."

[W]hat we’ve seen here is far more serious than a third-rate burglary of the Democratic headquarters," Schiff said, invoking Watergate. "What we're talking about here is the withholding of recognition in that White House meeting. The withholding of military aid to an ally at war. That is beyond anything Nixon did."

Democrats have alleged that Trump abused his office by pressuring Ukraine to investigate his domestic political rivals. Republicans have largely decried the process surrounding impeachment, decrying it as a partisan exercise intended solely to remove Trump from office out of hostility.

Schiff in his closing statement sought to knock down the Republican defenses of Trump's conduct one by one by recalling testimony from multiple witnesses.

He argued there was in fact a quid pro quo tying a White House meeting to a request for investigations that Trump wanted, and claimed that extended even to U.S. security assistance for Ukraine.

The chairman addressed GOP assertions that much of the testimony is based on "hearsay" by arguing that multiple witnesses provided direct and credible evidence and that their accounts should not be dismissed just because they weren't in the room with the president.

“There is nothing more dangerous than an unethical president who believes they are above the law. And I would just say to people watching at home and around the world … we are better than that," Schiff said, emphatically gaveling the hearing to a close.

Hill and Holmes marked the final scheduled witnesses to appear before the committee. Eleven individuals testified publicly over the last nine days, and the panel does not currently have additional witnesses slated for next week.

Seems that Schiff has a problem with "hearing comprehension". He should consider reading the transcripts of the hearings, but I fear his "reading comprehension" may be equally challenged.

Dude, he's a D congressman from CA. He's going nowhere until he decides to.

I have to agree with LeftwingTom on this one. Schiff is right in line with others from that state - Nancy Pelosi and Maxine Waters for example - that should have been voted out long ago for a laundry list of reasons but have not been. Pelosi's own district is an area that I visited on many occasions years ago and it was always a neat place to sight see and experience. Now it isn't anywhere that I would ever want to be. The same thing is happening in some other big cities in that state as well - ones that I have also visited many times over the years.

And I would hope you acknowledge that this is also true of R congressman from most all red states/districts as well.

What red states/districts (be specific) are you referring to that have become as bad or worse in some areas of them as 3rd world countries like large parts of Los Angeles and San Francisco have? Like large areas of downtown Portland have? Like the war zones/killing fields of Chicago have? Like the dangerous and decrepit areas of Baltimore that have recently been in the news have?

Hey LeftwingTom ...... Did you simply make yet another off the cuff silly comment with nothing to back it up? You never responded to my questions related to your post above.

Are the other people you talk to really this stupid?

The disinformation campaign was about the attempts to interfere with our election... trying to frame the Ukraine. Acting as if they weren't related is willful in its ignorance.

Devin Nunes have been outed by Lev Parniss wants to be heard in front of the House committee to out him as also being involved in smearing the Bidens. It is reported that Nunes met with the fired AG from Ukraine as well. If this is true? He should have recused himself from asking questions. It will look like he will be investigated by the House Ethics Committee if he violated house rules.

If Schiff assisted the whistleblower like everyone believes he should be excused as well. This sh*t of leading witnesses that have nothing is an embarrassment to his office and country.

This was written for you.

Quote:House Intelligence Committee Ranking Member Devin Nunes (R-CA) announced Friday night that he is filing a lawsuit against CNN over a report that they published the same evening that alleged an indicted associate of Rudy Giuliani was willing to testify to Congress that Nunes met with a former Ukrainian prosecutor last year to discuss digging up dirt on former Vice President and current Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden.

“The attorney, Joseph A. Bondy, represents Lev Parnas, the recently indicted Soviet-born American who worked with Giuliani to push claims of Democratic corruption in Ukraine,” CNN reported. “Bondy said that Parnas was told directly by the former Ukrainian official that he met last year in Vienna with Rep. Devin Nunes.”

“Mr. Parnas learned from former Ukrainian Prosecutor General Victor Shokin that Nunes had met with Shokin in Vienna last December,” Bondy told CNN. “Nunes had told Shokin of the urgent need to launch investigations into Burisma, Joe and Hunter Biden, and any purported Ukrainian interference in the 2016 election.”

CNN claims that Bondy told them that Parnas and Nunes allegedly began communicating with each other around the time of the Vienna trip and that Parnas worked to put Nunes in contact with Ukrainian officials that could dig up dirt on Biden and Democrats in Ukraine.

Nunes also plans to sue The Daily Beast for a story that it published earlier in the week that alleged that Parnas helped Nunes set up numerous meetings regarding Ukraine.

In an exclusive statement provided to Breitbart News, Nunes said: “These demonstrably false and scandalous stories published by the Daily Beast and CNN are the perfect example of defamation and reckless disregard for the truth. Some political operative offered these fake stories to at least five different media outlets before finding someone irresponsible enough to publish them. I look forward to prosecuting these cases, including the media outlets, as well as the sources of their fake stories, to the fullest extent of the law. I intend to hold the Daily Beast and CNN accountable for their actions. They will find themselves in court soon after Thanksgiving.”

CNN claims that they began to ask Nunes questions about his Vienna trip on November 14, to which Nunes responded to CNN: “I don’t talk to you in this lifetime or the next lifetime. At any time. On any question.”

CNN asked Nunes about the trip again on Thursday, to which Nunes responded: “To be perfectly clear, I don’t acknowledge any questions from you in this lifetime or the next lifetime. I don’t acknowledge any question from you ever.”

Nunes has long held a policy of not communicating with CNN, which can be evidenced in a clip from summer 2018.

Nunes does have a legitimate reason to not answer CNN, as the far-left network is notorious for making false claims about Republicans and publishing false stories that later have to be retracted.

In late 2017, CNN published a story smearing then-Trump ally Anthony Scaramucci that alleged that Scaramucci was connected to a Russian investment fund that was supposedly under investigation by the U.S. Senate.

Scaramucci took immediate legal action against CNN and the network was forced to retract the report and had to fire three reporters over the incident.

In August, CNN’s Brian Stelter, on his show “Reliable Sources,” allowed a psychiatrist to falsely claim that President Donald Trump was “as destructive of person in this century as Hitler, Stalin, Mao were in the last century. He may be responsible for many more million deaths than they were.”

Stelter did not challenge the claim and after experiencing intense backlash, gave an uncorroborated excuse for his inaction to the blatantly false statement.

CNN also lied about former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen’s lawyer, Lanny Davis, being its source for a story whose central claim — that Cohen would testify that Trump knew in advance about the Trump Tower meeting with a Russian lawyer — was also false.

“On July 27, 2018, CNN published a blockbuster story: that Michael Cohen was prepared to tell Robert Mueller that President Trump knew in advanced about the Trump Tower meeting,” The Intercept reported. “There were, however, two problems with this story: first, CNN got caught blatantly lying when its reporters claimed that ‘contacted by CNN, one of Cohen’s attorneys, Lanny Davis, declined to comment’ (in fact, Davis was one of CNN’s key sources, if not its only source, for this story), and second, numerous other outlets retracted the story after the source, Davis, admitted it was a lie. CNN, however, to this date has refused to do either.”

CNN has also posted false stories about:

James Comey’s testimony
The spread of misinformation on Twitter
Republicans funding the anti-Trump dossier
How Trump fed koi fish in Japan
Donald Trump Jr. getting advanced notice of a dump of WikiLeaks emails
A sexual assault allegation against Brett Kavanaugh that was already retracted
Repeatedly spreading false statistics about school shootings
Host shared a fake story about an AR-15

Though both skew hard left---there used to be a difference between CNN and the radical shouting tin foil hat crazies on MSNBC. These days---its hard to distinguish any significant difference between the two networks. Sad how far CNN has fallen.

It is reported that Nunes met with the fired AG from Ukraine as well. If this is true? He should have recused himself from asking questions. It will look like he will be investigated by the House Ethics Committee if he violated house rules.

I used to watch CNN almost all the time. They were down the middle until Obama showed up, then fawned all over him for 8 years, but still weren't stridently anti-everything-right.

Until Trump came down that escalator...

CNN reported late Friday that an associate of Rudy Giuliani, the president's personal lawyer, has information on meetings Nunes allegedly had with former Ukrainian prosecutor general Victor Shokin.
The CNN report says that Lev Parnas, according to his attorney, put Nunes in touch with Shokin to help him gather damaging information on former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter's dealings with Ukraine.

Aside from this likely false accusation ......

Again and again over the past couple of years we have heard Congressional Democrats go before the media cameras at the Capitol and tout, "No one is above the law".

Apparently there are some exceptions though in these same people's collective minds. People (Democrats) like Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden should NEVER under ANY circumstances be investigated no matter how compelling the evidence looks against them. Since when does "running for office (if you are a Democrat)" make you untouchable as far as being investigated for significant crimes? Ummmm, IT DOESN"T.

If this little pencil neck liar refuses to testify in the Senate and if he refuses to produce the whistleleaker to testify, there’s no reason for the Senate to proceed with a trial. Who is he kidding? What “turned him around on impeachment” was the fact that Trump was elected.

Hey, Schiff. Don't worry about the Republican Senate turning the impeachment farce into a circus. You already did that.
