I have to agree. It's pathetic. We want a "big-time" atmosphere, but aren't willing to put in the work. I can understand when the score is 100-nothin' and it is 93 degrees @ 3:00pm, but it was perfect whether, night time, 65 degrees, and errbody wants to get to tha car and wait in line, instead of reveling in the win in the Liberty Bowl, and showing the team some appreciation.

The only time the stadium clears out faster than when the Tigers are losing in the 4th quarter, is when they are winning. There are more fans now than in the past and more fans know how to appreciate great football, but still a lot of dim bulbs.

I have witnessed many a Memphis/Tulane game where attendance didn't equal the fans who stayed until the end. Was at the game last year, we outnumbered the entire Tulane crowd. We have good fans, as good as any (maybe better) in the nonP5 and better than many in the P5.

When have you heard me complain about low attendance?

I want to right size the stadium as much as possible to increase season ticket sales by making at least a little urgency for people to buy tickets.

Complaining about low attendance or about people leaving early never achieves the desired result.
