But if I had to pick a sport to be nationally known for it would be Foosball. The best damn sport in the land :)

Oh, and don't say USA is USA when we still have to play them....jeez man! The target on our back is only getting bigger as the weeks go by.

Crowd should be pretty decent for a weekday game. IIRC, only once has the attendance for this rivalry ever been less than 23,000, even on weekdays.

That was when it was on a Friday - a terrible night for a college game in our part of the country. I can only hope our “bye” has helped us. I don’t see where the extra time would hurt us, but I certainly don’t want to challenge the football gods and find out what that would look like if it doesn’t! Haha.

We finished 4th in the league commissioner's cup last year. Don't know where this "App is bad at everything but football" stuff came from.

This is our typical up and down year. We laid several eggs this year, with another one or two coming. I would like to see the team put it all together for a game or two, but I don't see that happening this year. We just need to continue to improve, get a few wins to build for next year. Maybe we can get a few deep throws and that will open the running game to make it respectable. We must let that defense get a rest.

Since App State has been in the Sun Belt you have a 31.76% conference winning percentage in baseball, a 37.23% conference winning percentage in men’s basketball, a 18.18% conference winning percentage in softball, and a 38.95% conference winning percentage in women’s basketball. So congrats on whatever sports helped you finish 4th in the Bubas Cup last year.

Now y’all leave this thread alone and stop doing what you always accuse Georgia Southern fans of doing and taking over a thread that has nothing to do with App.

I personally dont care about any sports except football and soccer...and take 0 offense to Olympic sports trash talk...its irrelevant for the most part. But isnt App really good at Field Hockey, Wrestling, Cross Country, and Track and Field? I could be wrong but hell that 5 sports...isnt that pretty standard that a school would only be good at 5 sports? And outside of mens basketball are we bad at anything? I think we are middle of the pack in the sun belt in almost every sport....maybe not....guess it doesnt matter. Football is all or nothing these days

This is all we have to play for this season. And it’s a visiting team series. It’ll be fun, hopefully, either way.
