Gameday at SMU@Memphis?
Maybe??? Only other game I could see is Georgia@Florida especially if Florida stays undefeated and that means beating LSU

Looking at the schedule, the Georgia @ Florida game is already scheduled for 2:30 on CBS. Would ESPN take Gameday down for a game on CBS?

Gameday in Memphis would be awesome, but let's not get ahead of ourselves and make sure we keep winning the games we're supposed to.

Go Tigers!

That happens fairly often. They just don’t mention CBS when they broadast until the last 10 seconds lol

Go Tigers!

Both Fl and Ga have already hosted a Game day and policy has been never twice in one year.

If we both continue to win Memphis and SMU would both be top 15 programs by then. It would be the best game of the day and a meaningful game. Tiger Lane with the Blue water fountain in the background would be a great setting.

Possible? Yes. Probable? Not yet. On the list? Yes.

Fl and Ga game isn't at either school it's in Jacksonville. Also though it's rare, they have gone to the same site twice in one year.

RE: Gameday at SMU@Memphis?
Apparently he heard John Martin on air speculating about how we could possibly get a gameday and decided to run with it like he is connected.

Hopefully it is true, but I won't be holding my breath.

Anyone who says that if Memphis got Gameday, there'd only be 70 people show up, doesn't get to have an opinion.

I'm shocked you took that seriously. Gameday would be a blast for Memphis. But I get to have an opinion on whatever I want. So do you. It's a message board, not the NBA. 04-jawdrop

They'd do 10 consecutive years of Georgia/Florida before they'd ever come to Memphis.

As was mine. The problem is we don't show up once it gets cold and or dreary with the exception of some recent Black Friday games. Hell even UCF when they were #13 in the country was woefully under-attended. Would we show up for Gameday? Probably. But who knows until it's time. A 3 hour show is tough on the body, especially if the game's at 7.

Actually, that would be perfect. Coffee and Gameday, then go grab a 2-hour nap, and be ready for 7pm kickoff.
