I think the atmosphere for the game was great, and I think had GS been able to field some semblance of an offense or defense it would have made the environment that much better.

All credit to Louisiana though. They came in and played with some confidence Andy swagger that our guys couldn't match. I didn't think we'd win, and if not for two muffed punts we likely get blown out. Hopefully we can figure a way to right the ship and get 5 guys that can figure out how to block sometime in the next few weeks. I don't want football season to be a lost cause before October even gets here.

The Cajun’s had the perfect game plan to suck the energy right out of the stadium from the get go. That one minute drive at the beginning of the first quarter really shut us up. They did exactly what they needed to to win. A really well-coached team from kickoff to the final whistle.

Correct. We don't have an issue with speed as much as we do with making holes to give the speed a chance to do something. We have the RB's and QB's to make the long runs, we just can't get them enough room to do so.

I'm one of the few who in spite of the way we have played so far knows that consistency in key positions will help, but that's going to rely heavily on key players staying healthy (namely the center, QB, and our returning slot-back).

We still control our own destiny, and feel free to quote this tweet in a few months but we will still be in contention for a conference title in a few weeks and will look much stronger than we do now.

Did any cajuns make the trip? If so, how did you enjoy Statesboro? I'm hoping you were greeted in a more welcoming way than our reputation would say.
