We have literally played one game, we could come out Friday night and crash the bed against Marshall. There’s also the chance that we run the table. Or we could trip up somewhere along the way, who knows? Let the season play out, enjoy it. You take things too seriously. Call your mom and tell her that you love her, go for a walk and get a haircut.
When are your smurfs gonna ditch the blue field? Makes my eyes bleed when you're on television. Especially the night games.
It is part of their branding at this point. You go anywhere in the world and you say Boise State and one of the first things people say after mentioning the Fiesta Bowl win over Oklahoma is, “Oh, the team with the blue field”. Love it, or hate it, it is publicity.
Anywhere in the world? So if I go to Iran and talk about Boise State they're gonna talk about the Fiesta Bowl and your blue field?
Apparently hyperbole is a foreign word to you? This is really childish and immature. I root for all G5's unless it directly involves Boise. You wanna be petty, knock yourself out.
I was rooting for Boise against FSU, and I was just making fun of what you said. You come to an AAC board and start shoving Boise State stuff down our throat, and don't understand why people could possibly disagree with you. I post on the Big East and MWC boards too, but you don't see me shoving UCF down their throats.

Why would I talk about UCF? I want your JUCO johnny-come-lately junk out of here because I am a grad and fan of a school that is on the Top 25 All Time Wins list.
Boise on the other hand is a cute little story since 2007 and a Statue of Liberty play. In another decade, you might have half the wins Navy does now. Three Fiestas aint squat for those of us here with Sugar, Rose, Cotton, and Orange Bowls.
Your post is muddled, incoherent and all over the place. Yes, we have won three Fiesta Bowls. Which team in the AAC has won the sugar, rose, cotton orange bowl? I’m being serious, I don’t know and whatever team it is, props to them.
There are only two teams in the AAC who don't have NYD bowls in their history.
*sigh*
No ECU your 1991 team's appearance in the Peach Bowl does not count, sorry.
Most of us have multiple appearences and some are walking around with national championships. Go home, you just don't belong in this neighborhood.
Um yes it does. Sorry if our football history is so long and extensive as to pre-date your narrow window of time.
Eh bragging about teams beefed up by the draft because of world wars and championships won before African Americans were allowed to play the game is not that impressive IMHO
That statement was so stupid I'm surprised you can internet.

No it doesn't. Get to one after it was added to the rotation and it will. You're out there with ISF, you got nothing, hell even UConn has a fiesta bowl that counts.
Meanwhile, Temple, Tulane, Tulsa, SMU, etc are walking around with orange, sugars, rose, and cotton bowls.
Tulsa started playing with the big boys a 124 years ago, trust me our history covers your best little chunk of history. In fact our 1991 Freedom bowl is probably better than your peach and includes us putting Marshall Faulk down.
Thanks for playing, we like you though so we won't make you go stand with Boise and the dwarves.
Tulsa was the last added to this little show so you will not be telling anyone to sit anywhere. So Duke can count their "Rose Bowl" too I guess uh? ECU played on a bowl on New Years Day, two ranked opponents, on TV (not telegraph like Tulsa's "vaunted" Sugar bowl appearances) and we finished 9th in the nation. Please keep your pseudo Sugar bowl to your fan sites.

Sit down you don't have a NYD bowl and that some ECU fans try to claim one is just embarassing.
You sound like a jealous 8 year old, yes Duke's Rose counts and yes that means they have a more relevant football program and history than you. Yes every team in the AAC is a better program than you except possibly USF. Deal with it, it's just reality, get to a NYD and then you can talk. Now get some polish and clean those smudges you left all over everyone elses trophies.
Sorry Tulsa didn't jump for a football only invite when they inquired, now maybe ECU should try to do something in a sport other than baseball. Like I don't know...... see if you can beat USF to a NYD game with a forty year head start.

I see your homerism (SMU ranked ahead of Houston/Cincinnati) managed to overcome your better instincts about posting that A5-G5 segregationist propaganda piece here.

Pony is awful, but SMU should absolutely be ranked ahead of Houston and Cincy at this point in the ranking. Hawaii should also be #1 based on current resumes.

Thanks. If I ever have a question about Women's basketball I will be sure to check with you first, but for sports that matter I'm going to give your opinion a pass.

How many conference championships do you have in the AAC again? It's funny how trash some pirate fans try and talk when you can't even claim the attendance championship anymore and well being honest that's all you ever had.
By the way we don't even have a baseball team and we've been to the college world series.....

Facts don't care about your beliefs. Tulsa was a last add to CUSA and a last add to the AAC (which was so bad you drove away the C7). Please stop.

Facts are, the big east quietly inquired if Tulsa would be interested in a football only arrangement as part of the western wing. Tulsa was not interested in splitting sports.
ECU jumped at the opportunity and only reluctantly was allowed all sports.
Tulsa was invited to both the newly forming CUSA and the Super WAC 16. We chose poorly. Then used our fall back option. Where we won more conference championships than anyone during our time there and more than any with any shared time member.
See the repeating theme here?

We have a NYD bowl just as much as Tulsa does. Thats reality. And Tulsa was the last add because they brought the least. Another reality.
1991 Peach bowl is not a NYD bowl no matter how much you wish it was true. You're behind everybody but USF in this conference. Your inability to deal with reality doesn't change it. For the record Tulsa has 3 NYD bowls, we went to five bowls held on new years day in a row. Only three of them are actual NYD's though.

Last add WAC. Last to add CUSA. Last to add AAC. See a theme here? You're the fat kid on the playground getting picked last every time.
Who just wins and apparently pisses in your cheerios.
Still got NYD bowls and College World Series.
ECU? Never and nope,

SMU might have the best QB in the conference.
