Well, I’m putting on my red tinted glasses and saying we surprisingly bounce back with a win.

RE: Louisiana
I like our chances against ULL. Syracuse brought a lot of room for improvement that I expect Freeze to use to our advantage. Making those changes should be more than enough to beat the 2nd-6th best Sun Belt team. I think Freeze will be more motivated this week against his former conference and he will want to get the monkey off his back of getting his first win at LU.
Liberty 24
ULL 20

Before the 2019 season, I had four toss-up or unknown games. They are @Louisiana, Buffalo, @Rutgers, and @UMass. After watching the first half of the UMass at Rutgers game, I'm thinking LU wins against UMass and Buffalo and loses to ULL and Rutgers.
I can see LU winning against ULL but I need to see how the O plays against a G5 team.

The Freeze factor seems to be the deciding point here. If he can be with them face-to-face, which seems unlikely, rather than via video or from a distance, it's a toss up with the home team having the advantage. And HCF wants his LU victory bad. A close game. I tend to agree with ArmyMike on the LU victory and the score.

Hi Liberty fans, Louisiana fan stopping by, i'm not very familiar with your team, what is the strength of your ball club? i noticed your QB has 31 starts under his belt, that is a major plus, is he consider dual threat also?

It’s hard to really tell after one game against a top 25 team. Buckshot, our qb, isn’t mobile at all. AGG our wideout should be a day two selection in the draft. The offense should be better than what they looked like last week. Defensively we looked like a 180 was done from last year. Then again, it’s too early to tell. On defense our defensive ends are really good. The talent is there on D but most of it is unproven outside of the ends.

Moblie QB's have seem to give us fits the past few years. however i think our team is becoming more disciplined under coach Napier. our Offense is our strength, with tons of potential on Defense, just need to see them live up to it and play well. thanks for the info.

LU laid the ultimate offensive egg last week against SU. The LU defense played well. With HC Freeze being offensive minded, one can expect LU this week to be substantially better, and if the defense plays as well as last week, LU should bring a strong game. With Louisiana's strong showing last week, and the anticipated offensive improvement from LU this week, this should be a very close and entertaining game. The 3 running backs for Louisiana should pose a challenge for LU's defense. And LU with a senior QB and heralded wide receiver, with a week for redemption, expect a high scoring game.

I hear a lot of people make predictions similar to this, where one team makes improvement and the other stays the same. however, if both teams make improvements from week 1 performances, which Louisiana made a ton of mistakes in the game, what does the outcome look like at that point? my feelings is the gap is pretty large between our rosters right now. however, thats why they play the game.

Does the fact that Cuse gave up 0 points to us and 63 today give anyone else a great sense of concern? I am concerned.

Great first drive for us.
But they are going through us like a hot knife through butter on their first drive..... until they got near the Red Zone.

Defense stepped up big. Hope they settle in with that D the rest of the way.
