I'm 71 and I suggested adding the DJ based on my experience at basketball. I have zero problem with him or the light show.

I'm more annoyed we still have Ankersons garbled announcing. Speakers in section 111 did not work. Please fix them!!

Also put more candid crowd shots on videoboard, especially of the college kids. They love it.

Very disappointed with the product as a whole.

Other then them trying to have a Light Show (during daytime) the introduction was the same since FCS days.
There was no use of the scoreboard for in game stats or out of town videos or scores. Something we were promised.
Just replies and TV commercials.
No new cool graphics- just get loud.
The ribbon boards were nothing but continuous ads.
Bands playing over each other
The DJ could be great if used correctly.
The concession lines were ridiculous the whole game!!!

Just letting people stand (10 deep)on the concourse behind the seats caused huge issues getting in and out of your seats. ( west side)
Cannot believe the size of the bathrooms- I think they are same size as at the Ted if not smaller.
Of course a lot of these issue will go away as the crowds after the ECU game will be smaller!!!!
Those that said they have never seen so many students. Let’s have the conversation after the ECU game.

Great video, like them or not, this is a great opening! Notice choreographed it is. Dr. Chandler it is not that hard. ANTICIPATION is the key word, for both the players and the fans!

The DJ added energy and entertainment for the students - and upgrading the students to sideline seats is brilliant. They were engaged the entire game and I’m sure they will show back up now that they have something to look forward to. Also, my group loved the new sound system and halftime light show. The fb complaints are absurd - this is a football game not a tennis match.

They'll work out the audio kinks.

The dj was great just needs to learn some of the nuances of home field advantage and not getting loud when we are about to go to the line for a 3rd down. Things like that.

They need to move the taco/nacho stand away from the seats. Move way back plus add water/soda ice chests away from the stands.

The port horn should be the signal for the flags spelling monarchs to go up and begin their run which should lead into the smoke machine and maybe some lion roars. Then give Crazy Train a few seconds to play and the team runs through the smoke onto the field. Is there any reason the pyrotechnics couldn't be done from the SEZ building? Seems like that would be better than dragging a tarp and wagon out onto the field. I think the team comes out of the locker room way too early and is itching to get out onto the field.

The team needs to pin up all that energy in the locker room and come flying out of the smoke when Crazy Train starts. Having them lined up at the opening bring no excitement. A grade school teacher could do a better job than this, it should be like in grade school when everyone is lined up for the teacher to open the door for recess, I remember we'd storm the playground as soon as the doors opened.

The fans need to be be yelling something in unison like Monarchs Monarch Monarchs...or ODU ODU ODU while clapping to Crazy train. There needs to be an educational video made and distributed to everyone.

They shouldn’t even run into the field until the uptempo guitar part starts. The whole “all aboard” laughter part is the call to arms that should get the crowd on their feet and ready for the entry 30 seconds later.

It was an experiment. I wish I were in those planning meetings tho. First thing I would notice is lighting effects dont work in daylight. But it's a hell of a cool 2nd half get everyone hype thing. Keep it there where it works in dusk and dark.

I think simplicity is the key here. Just have the ribbons in the east side flahs let's go! And then after on the west ribbon the banners say Monarchs! Rense and repeat for about 6 or 7 times and then all aboard! Then let the song build up for 15 seconds until everyone is on their feet and THEN run out.

But run out on cue with the music. The music builds nicely to a crest , but the guys run out at the quietest part. It doesn’t make sense.

Off-topic but I am heading up for the ECU game and I was wondering if I should buy tickets in 204 or 106. Looking forward to seeing yall's new stadium!
