I'm so glad they did that. Hilarious.

A few pictures from this morning as we visited the Stadium.

The ribbon board on the East Side or "Visitors Side" The Band will be seated on the East Side in the far left part of the stadium on the lower level.



The West Side of the Stadium, there has been a lot of work done here in just 10 days

Looking around there is a lot going on today. However we got the opportunity to talk a few minutes to a crew of gentleman, that seemed to be very tuned into the stadium and the construction time line. They said there is just to much to get done today. But assured us that by the time ODU plays ECU, it will be at another level of amazing? They were very excited about what is planned and still to be done. They said it will be SPECTACULAR and Old Dominion will have a STADIUM that is welcoming, yet intimidating ….." The HOME of the "M O N A R C H S". The graphics (posters) and the finishing touches will not be done till that time. We saw SB Ballard being interviewed on the field with a group of reporters and camera people.

Looking forward to Saturdays game. They said get there early, because there will be all kinds of treats and handouts about the stadium for the fans.

I got it two days ago in an email with the subject line "Rise to Prominence Brick Campaign Locator Map". The email was sent by CustomerService@fundraiserssports.com.

static coming out of one of the speakers on the west side. What is the life expectancy of the metal decking? Metal flooring is already rusting and concrete steps cracking. Outside of that nice stadium!

Shame they weren’t able to continue the ribbon displays to cover the entire length of the grandstands. On TV, it looks incomplete. Now I realize those displays probably come in set lengths so finding the exact fit may not have worked out, but dang.

Toilet paper in one men’s bathroom was out well well before halftime.

With the length of the lines on the west side they are short concession stands by at least 2.

Next to no audio n west side concession stands and no video. Major failure. It is a crap ton cheaper to install videos than to add concession stands. They won’t add more concession stands, at least put in some video and audio since we’ll be in long lines.

I wasn’t at the game tonight, but you have consider it was the first night of a new stadium. Some kinks will need to be worked out before the ECU game. Hopefully, issues like the lack of toilet paper and AV situation will be resolved.
