Kamala Harris willing to send cops to people's homes to confiscate banned firearms
Quote:
LAS VEGAS — California Democratic Sen. Kamala Harris gave details about her gun control proposals in the wake of the deadly El Paso, Texas shooting after she addressed union members at the AFSCME forum at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas on Saturday.
When asked by the Washington Examiner if her plan would include legal gun owner databases or gun confiscation via law enforcement visits to residents who own banned firearms, she replied, “I'm actually prepared to take executive action to put in place rules that improve this situation.”
She continued, “I also have as part of my background and experience working on this issue, when I was attorney general [of California], and we put resources into allowing law enforcement to actually knock on the doors of people who were on two lists — a list where they had been found by a court to be a danger to themselves and others.
“They were on a list where they were precluded and prohibited from owning a gun because of a conviction that prohibited that ownership. Those lists were combined and then we sent law enforcement out to take those guns, because, listen, we have to deal with this on all levels, but we have to do this with a sense of urgency,” Harris added.

So, she wants to use military force on disproportionately middle America and conservatives. They know their states are collapsing due to their poor governance, and they want to bring that hell to us.
Fortunately, ms. california values is polling at 10% and plummeting.

Thank God, sounds like she is planning on 3 a.m. raids, and people disappearing.

So executive action, not search warrants. How very Stalinist of her.

I cannot express how happy I am about that developement...
To me, Harris is one of the least likable candidates in the Democrat Field - she right up there with Warren. Too much grandstanding and photo-op-ing and not enough governing for me.
She kinda reminds me of Ted Kennedy in how she asks questions and makes statements looking like she is disgusted with the person she is addressing and coming off as holier than thou - when we know a lot of their dirty laundry. Watching her question Kavanaugh reminded me of watching TK question Clarence Thomas back in the day....
Sitting in Judgement of others when you screwed your way up the ladder or drowned your girlfriend kinda stinks of hypocrisy.

Wow. I'm 38, and I didn't think there was anyone in my generation or older that is unfamiliar with Ted Kennedy and the fate of his girlfriend. No slight intended here Joey, just curious of your age. I do understand that as the years go on and we are further and further separated from the days of "Kennedy Camelot" the information surrounding their history and dealings falls into the dust bins of history. That's a fairly big piece of the history pie to be uninformed on though.

When he drove off the bridge, drunk as a skunk, and they were trapped in the car under water, Ted basically used the side of her face as a stepping stool to help get his drunk ass to safety, and left her there to drown.
