We've got a slew of people on the left (including virtually the entire democrat presidential field) who have never run a business, met a payroll, created wealth, or made significant business decisions, who are all too ready to say, "O those rich people and corporations have made enough money. They won't care if we take bunch of it and redistribute it."
It's like people who have ever held a gun dictating gun policy.
Andrew Yang, Tom Steyer, John Delaney and Beto O'Rourke would beg to differ. And I'd say most Governors or big city mayors fit that category too.
Robert --- lol. Yep, Robert has such a huge amount of experience 'running a business'. As much of a fing rubber stamp as one can get from one whose pop was county judge, and is the son-in-law of billionaire.
His business background is equivalent to a young Bernie Sanders. Why dont you include Bernie in that group then?
Robert, businessman. It is always really fun to start the morning out with a good laugh.
Quote:Your bias is unbelievable. Just admit already you're a Republican. You'll feel better about yourself in the morning.
I think you disagree that for the most part, Democratic pols are far more likely to not be ensconced with a business than Republicans.
Lets take a look at the last three Republican Presidents --- Shrub (ran a professional baseball club), Papa Bush --- CEO of Zapata Energy, and Orange Man.
The best business experience the last three Democratic presidents can muster is peanut farmer.
I mean, think about it --- Democratic politics is all about using the power of the state to coerce compliance and more and more money out of a populace. Kind of anathema to most businesses when yo stop and think about it.
But if *you* really want to try and cast the Democratic party as the party of business, well, keep on smacking that tom tom as much as you want.....
