I certainly hope so but unless he learns to go right he is going to have a really hard time playing in the NBA.

Word on the street has him spending a couple of weeks up north, working out with a team not named Heat.

RE: Jeremiah Martin
That's our Tiger--Outside, Inside, Midrange Playah. I'm saying his game translates to the NBA. He's doing the same thing he did in college.

As far as going right---I don't pay attention to those things when I see someone score at will. I mean, if necessary, he can work on that.

hmmm....I'm trying to think of the last time I saw James Hardin go right..lol

At least 30 in NBA. Google it.

Harden--no. That's why you saw a team playing strictly on his left hand.

Manu--no. Tho he's no longer in the A.

Name a prominent left hander that could go right. And I'm not talking one dribble right and back left. I'll wait.

Google your ass.

Martin is a Tiger. Tigers never quit. They are are flexible versatile unselfish and motivated to win. If Jeremiah finds it advantageous to acquire more skills in his arsenal, he will. That’s what he does.

In the meantime, the dude has proven he can score from anywhere in the court, as well as rack up the steals and assists.

Edit: In addition to his skills, talents and potential, the kid has heart. You can’t teach heart.

First, you are comparing him to two hall of fame players and one who is a top 3 scorer in the league. No offense to Martin but he is nowhere near their talent. He is more like a Shabazz Muhammad. Not an elite three point shooter and can only go left. Second, both of those guys use their right hand to drive and finish (or did in Manu's case). Obviously, they use their dominant hand far more frequently but both do/did enough with their right hand to keep the defense honest.

You will be much harder pressed to find a left handed guard in the NBA that cannot use their right hand consistently. I am all for Martin and really hope he proves me wrong, but all of his buckets in that highlight video are going left. You simply cannot do that in the NBA unless you possess some other elite skill like shooting or athleticism.

RE: Jeremiah Martin
I watched Shabazz at UCLA . He was one. f’ing. selfish. etc.

Bad family. Highly sought after. Father moved and changed his name in order to lie about kid’s age on birth certificate. Got paid tons to choose UCLA. Not a team player.

Overall... a bad comparison to Martin.

If we want to play the game of assessing potential, it’s more accurate when we take into consideration the whole person. Physical potential is influenced (if not controlled) by non-physical factors.

Shabazz Muhammad couldn't go right either. Damon Stoudemire. Salim Stoudemire. Tristan Thompson. Everything they do is based off the left hand.

I'm not comparing Martin to hall of famers. I'm comparing him to all left handers.

Now somebody bring up LeBron James as a lefty that can go right

Duh, they are left handed. But there is a massive difference between left hand dominant and only being able to go left...

You can the same thing about almost all right handed guards in the league that everything they do is based on the right hand...

I think I successfully smoked out the gurus who have been on the "Martin can't go right" narrative. Now let's see what happens.
