Quote:EL PASO, Texas (AP) - A group of 1,036 migrants that crossed the border illegally El Paso, Texas, is the largest the Border Patrol has ever encountered, the agency said Thursday.
The crossing was the latest sign that migrants are increasingly coming in large groups. The Border Patrol said it has found 180 groups of more than 100 people since October, compared to 13 in the previous 12-month period and two the year before.
A Border Patrol surveillance video that President Donald Trump shared on Twitter shows people filing under a chain-link fence to a spot on the U.S. side, where they waited for agents to pick them up. Authorities said it took about five minutes for all to cross around 4 a.m. on Wednesday near downtown El Paso.
The group included 934 people in families, 63 unaccompanied children and 39 single adults, authorities said. The majority were from Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador.

All of them, but that's their plan. You get caught, claim asylum, they process you, don't have room to keep you, release you with orders to appear, never show up, stay here until ICE finds you, which could be somewhere between 6 months and never. If caught and deported repeat the process.

We need a much stronger goal line defense.
Along with empowering and training state and local law enforcement agencies who desire to do so the ability to enforce immigration law.
There's many crying over Trumps move to add tariffs to Mexican imports. What else is there for him to do? Start a war with them. You have to realize that adding tariffs is the only way short of war to punish wrongdoing by governments. It's the only way, short and simple.
Thanks for the lawsuits stupid progs! You and you kids could go to a university for free if not for prog land oh my god we need to help them......................funded by billionaires lol. Stupid dumb leftists fools.

States and local municipalities hire and pay these guys to enforce state and local law. I'm sure they don't want them doing federal work on their dime. Or if the feds pay them, taking time away from their state and local duties.
Congress has been punting on this issue for years now. We need to stop putting these failures back in office until they start doing the job we want them to do.

I have a friend who has been in California, Santa Barbara to be exact, for so long and as smoked so much grass that his mind is totally eaten up with Orange Man Bad. He has been a huge supporter of trade protection in the past, but can't support these tariffs because it's Trump. He posts on Facebook, complaining about the Trump tariffs, and his new talking point is that these tariffs are somehow defective because always before te foreign companies had to eat them, but this time US customers are having to pay. He's a wonderful artist, but he doesn't have a clue about economics.
