You get 10 days of practice before the trip as well. These trips are good for the players bonding...unless you are UCLA. In which case you need bail money.

Haven't watched it yet but will. Did anyone ask for his response to the haters and accusations of shortcuts? Seems like a good opportunity to throw a challenge back at the blue blooded haters and invite them to come down, spend money locally, and investigate whatever they want. (Or something like that). He's crashing that blue blood country club party and he doesn't have to go through the "assistant coach" pledge bs to belong.

As far as Lil Penny goes.. While it would be good, the original intent is no longer necessary. Penny has plenty of media personality now. That shyness he had when he first went pro seems mostly non-existant.

JP has now coached in the best recruiting areas in the south (Memphis & Atlanta) . Aside from the one Memphis class, he had done poorly at the one thing I thought he could do - recruit.

If he had followed advice given him by coaches, others in CBB he probably would have done a good job. We did go to 4 straight NCAA tournaments under him. You he didn’t run the program into the ground like Tubby did bu not giving a s***.

At the end Josh was just as insulting to the fans and the city as Tubby...Probably more so.
And Tubby didn't run the program into the ditch...Josh did. Tubby just didn't try to pull it out because like you said...He didn't give a sh1t.

Pastner was 100x better than Tubby, easily. Doesn't make me like Pastner though. He was a control freak. He treated players poorly and unfairly. He lashed out any time things didn't go the way he wanted them to go. I could go on and on about the plethora of character flaws he tried to mask with politeness and a huge goofy grin. I will give him credit, he was smart enough to have his tutors do all of his work and get it all turned in within 2 years... He turned in this paper, how? Clearly he had no clue at all what was written on the paper.
