EDIT: Kermit got ejected in the third inning when it looked like Coastal was going to erase a 6-3 deficit. I missed what happened, but it seems a fire was lit.

The Mountaineers punched us in the mouth in the first inning and have not looked back. The Chants are now battling with Troy for that 6th spot to avoid a play-in game so here's to South Alabama and Coastal getting back on track tomorrow...

And unless Coastal can make up an 11-run deficit in the 9th inning, GS has locked up the East Division and the #2 seed without playing a second game.

There is no team as inconsistent as App this year.

With Arkansas State losing, App has made the Sun Belt Tournament for the first time, even if we blow this 12-run lead in the 9th.

Sweeping a DH from UTA, and doing it in such dramatic fashion has me feeling a little better going into the Tourney. Team showed some Grit today.

AState fails to qualify for the tournament for the first time since 2009. We were 8-2 and in first place in league after winning the opening game in Lafayette 6 weeks ago. We’ve gone 3-16 in league since that day.

This will be an ugly mark on the raffo era here. We’ve hit the point where even the most loyal supporters started to turn. Coming into a must win series against your biggest rival and having 8 times more errors than runs 2 games in is a real coaching problem

Cajuns come back to beat the Warhawks 13-9 in 10 after hitting two solo home runs to tie it in the 9th. After stAte loses though both the Cajuns and Warhawks are in the tourney and the Warhawks are the 10 seed regardless of today’s outcome. As sad as this sounds, Federico gets ULM back in the conference tourney for the first time in 4 years.

By my calculations, seeds 1-4 and 10 are set. Seeds 5-7 are to be determined between USA, Troy, and CCU. Seeds 8-9 will come down to Louisiana and App.

1 Texas State
2 Georgia Southern
3 Little Rock
4 UTA

Seeds 5-7
If USA wins then USA has 5 seed, CCU has 6 seed, and Troy has 7 seed.
If USA and CCU both lose then Troy is the 5 seed, USA is the 6 seed, and CCU is the 7 seed.
If USA loses and CCU wins, then CCU is the 5 seed, Troy is the 6 seed, and USA is the 7 seed.

Seeds 8-9
If Louisiana wins they are the 8 seed and App is the 9 seed.
If Louisiana and App both lose then Louisiana is the 8 seed and App is the 9 seed.
If Louisiana loses and App wins then App is the 8 seed and Louisiana is the 9 seed.

Pretty much. Heck, I go to AA games a lot and even there the players help pull/put the tarp out when it rains.
