Oh good, other people get to experience the abandoned feel and half-functioning video board and concessions on only one side of the facility that also take forever.

Serious question though....how will the locker room situation be handled? They normally have the next teams already in locker rooms in the Dome/Benz cause there were several auxillary locker rooms that could be used. You'd need at least 2 extras to accommodate the next two teams to play. Wasn't sure if that was in the plan for the stadium or not.

This is 100% not smack talk, hopefully the players stay out of the stands because I was severely let down to see how bad things had gotten during my trip there. Maybe the field and locker rooms are really nice and will impress them because the stands and concourse on the panthers side will definitely not impress them.

The stands and the concourse? We could never make those as nice as MB no matter what we did. But it definitely isnt any worse than. The concourse and seats in any other neutral site, say Paulson or Grant Field

Nice. Much bigger deal than the Corky Kell Classic.

I attended the App game two years ago, at the time it was the most poorly run stadium I've been to at the college level. But it was the transition year with less than six months to make improvements so I was expecting most of what I saw.

Fast forward two years, if we make the trip this year what upgrades have been made?

I would assume that the Braves had auxillary locker rooms as well. Congrats to GA State. Pretty exciting for GA Football fans to have all the titles in one place again and at least all the kids get to have it somewhere cool rather then some having to play at high schools.

Previously, the title game was played in the Mercedes Benz Dome where the Falcons play. It hasn’t been held on the high school fields in quite a wile.

Used to be the semifinal was played in the Dome then the title games were played at the higher seed.

They flipped that about 10 or so years ago.

Panthervision/Jumbo Tron/Video Board scheduled to be replaced before the fall home games. They got the 2 years they wanted out of the old BravesVision board. **** man it's only been 4 hours since you first posted.....

Lots of no to most of this.

There are multiple locker rooms to handle multiple teams.

All of what I posted is accurate.

Will it be different next season? Time will tell.

So far all improvements have been under the stands, not where the public would see.

Well, phase 2 mostly focused improvements for the players, staff, and administration. Fans most likely wont ever see the new locker rooms, offices, conference center, meeting rooms, equipment rooms, training rooms, weight rooms, etc.

You might get a kick out of the new jumbotron coming this offseason though. Also, the food services seem to function better independently from GSU Dining.

I was at the UL-Monroe game on 9/29 last year and I thought the stadium improvements (compared to 2017) were tremendous. Now I admit, comparing to 2017 is setting the bar as low as possible. But it was a lot better. And I trust 2019 will see further improvements in terms of concessions, shuttle-bus service, etc.

Looks like you missed the prior post with an update on known upgrades which also include ribbon boards as well....and no, the post you made is far from accurate, Concessions aren't only on one side for starters.

They're from Georgia so they're not potential recruits.
