Why would they? Candidates for president have no power to change anything. All the media can and should do is report on this as the article you posted does.

Exactly, when Ginsey croaks, Trump should nominate Garland. Then have a drag him thru the mud session a la Kavanaugh, only in the end to use their 53 votes and tell him to GTFO.

Dumb idea. When the SC starts having caucuses people will regret it.

I think 9 is a good number to have an actual discussion about things. Any more than that would be difficult to have real collaboration.
