Probably true, but one win against the 8 seed is not three wins in three days with the last two against better competition. But that was total domination today.

Fantastic game today by UB! But yes, each game is a one time event. Several UB vs. MAC games were tight this year. Gonzaga lost... you get the point.

Yeah, I wouldn't read too much into it. Buffalo was clearly the better team and deserved the win, but it was far from your typical game. Akron accrued 17 fouls in the 1st half alone. Utomi & Poke had 4 fouls in the half and they had another another 2 players with 3. Things got out of hand quick.

They are doing everything possible to make him happy financially. Probably collecting money on the streets at this point. Nate loves the area, his wife and kids are entrenched and love the area..he bought his dream house on the Niagara River.
BUT, if they don't lock him into a contract extension before the Tourney ends,,,there's a good chance he listens to the best offer and bolts.

Not at all. Their two MAC losses came to BG and NIU. If BG wins tonight and UB beats CMU, they will have to face a team that beat them already.

Thats true, I just meant I would not let the result in DeKalb lower the extent and spread to which I predict a Buffalo win if it was vs NIU. It would not lower my margin of victory prediction for Buffalo vs NIU

Regardless of the prior UB-NIU result, you'd have to be crazy to give NIU a better shot than Toledo to beat the Bulls going forward.

I'm glad BG and NIU made it to the semi-finals. Outsiders who claimed that Buffalo lost two MAC games to nobody's can now see that both programs are very solid this season.

Toledo has the better team, for sure, but NIU has the best individual player between the two teams.

If you watch these tournaments, year after year, surprise teams make runs usually by individual breakout performers.

Now, I'm not saying NIU would beat Buffalo again at all, but it does say something that there were only 2 teams in the MAC to beat Buffalo this year and NIU was one of them.
