Don't act like those stats are readily available. If they are then provide us with a link. If not then admit you pulled that out of your ass. I'm assuming you're talking about just Div 1 and FBS wins. And since USM has been Div 1 for a long time I'm sure you've accumulated some wins. But more than all the other 13 schools combined? In all sports? Again, bull****. We've only been Div 1 for around 40 years and we have more Div 1 NT's than the Eagz. We won't bring Sailing into this as it's not sponsored by the NCAA.

So yeah, put up or shut up.

I'm just glad USM MBB is improved this season and helping with the level of competition in CUSA. Whatever recognition any team in this conference can get is a positive to all members.

Personally, I wish ODU was #1 in the poll so USMs upcoming victory in Norfolk would be more valuable. 04-cheers

RE: Someone gave USM a vote in the USA Today basketball poll this week.
Back in the mid-60's, North Dakota was ranked tenth in one weekly football poll by getting a first place vote and no other mentions. It turns out the guy totaling the poll votes had mistaken "ND", meant for Notre Dame, as a vote for North Dakota for #1.

Never pull anything outta my azzz that isn't gold, my friend! 03-lmfao

I'd say 3/4 of the conference has never beaten a top 10 team in anything, while we have boucoup in football and baseball....even doubt if many have beaten a Top 25 team in football.

We beat ranked Alabama and Auburn teams IN THE SAME friggin' year...

We beat TCU and Houston when they were both in the Top 10..

and that's just a SMALL sample..

YOU find someone else in C-USA who has even approached that in THEIR history...04-cheers

Again..football didn't start in 2011...

You can't be this stupid. You're claim is ridiculous. La Tech and ODU have 3 National Titles each in women's basketball. ODU has more Field Hockey National Titles than any other school in the entire country. UTEP won a National Title in men's basketball. WKU, UAB and Charlotte all have at least one trip to the Sweet 16 each I believe. USM's baseball history is good, Rice's is better. This ain't a football thread and USM has been to the NCAA tourney a grand total of 3 times in your entire ******* history.

Are you 3 years old? Calling someone names make ya a BIG man?..03-lmfao

I "said" USM sports teams have beaten more Top 25 teams TOTAL than everyone combined...so one trip to the NCAA sweet 16 means you beat how many top 25 teams?....and Field Hockey? Field Hockey? (in my best John McEnroe ) You cannot be serious!?! How do you gauge Field Hockey top 25?

As for national championships, we were "small college" national champs in football TWICE....but we were playing Bama, FSU, NC State and Memphis at the time...So what?

Now, you may have me on the La Tech women's thingee, but not sure when a Women's Top 25 was begun, since all their titles but one were AIAW titles.

Congrats to the Lady Techsters...

So, I will make a small concession and state: USM has more major sports top 25 wins than everyone else COMBINED...

Funny how you don't mention MTSU, UTSA ,NTSU, FIU, Marshall or FAU....and you mention ONE sweet 16 for Charlotte, UAB and WKU...what else ya got? 03-lmfao

...and I surely didn't say USM baseball was better than Rice...

You started drinking way too early this morning..

Sorry, I forgot to include badmitten, jai alai and debate! 03-lmfao

Any idjit knows what the "major sports" are, and while they include women's basketball, there is no long-term Top 25 to gauge who beat who, and you know that.

Speakin' of who beat who, you really can't give any examples of anyone else beating top 25 teams except babbling off about ONE sweet 16 and Horse...errr Field Hockey.

IF you can show me ODU was ranked #1 in several polls through the years...and the rankings of teams they beat...I will concede Field Hockey and stand erected.

If not, YOU stop and STFU. 04-cheers

So calling someone "out" makes you feel all manly and warm and squiggly inside? Grow up. 03-lmfao

You misinterpreted what I originally "said", and now you're trying to worm outta it.

I may have missed ice hockey, dressage and needle point, but you KNOW I basically meant football, basketball and baseball, where there is a LONG TERM Top 25. You're just pissed like FAU fans that you have no sports history...except Horse Hockey...and you denigrate out of jealousy. 04-cheers

Enjoy your day my friend...

Well, all the athletes in any single sport at any other CUSA school has more combined teeth than the entire population of Mississippi.

Can't win an argument (since what I reported is obviously correct), so some idiot always resorts to the ol' tried-and-true over-generalized, stereotypical view of a citizenry.

I'd say 3/4 of the conference has never beaten a top 10 team in anything, while we have boucoup in football and baseball....even doubt if many have beaten a Top 25 team in football...and how to you gauge Field Hockey for cryin' out loud?

So, I will make a small concession and state: USM has more major sports top 25 wins than everyone else COMBINED...

I still call bull****.

And what are you calling major sports? Football and Men's Basketball? Because baseball is on the same level as women's basketball.

You should just stop. Really.

04-cheers

We beat #25 Syracuse two months ago.

Start counting USM’s wins if you want to prove your point and I’ll prove you wrong.

Can't win an argument (since what I reported is obviously correct), so some idiot always resorts to the ol' tried-and-true over-generalized, stereotypical view of a citizenry.

People who live in glass houses should know better..

2 top politicians. The 3rd is accused of sexual assault. You're weak on facts today.

In Field Hockey? Congrats! 04-cheers

I don't have the time and space to record all the Top 25 wins USM has as a program...but it's like The NY Yankees having more World Series wins than anyone else, YOU DON'T HAVE TO PROVE IT, YOU JUST KNOW IT'S TRUE.03-lmfao
