Give it to the Border Patrol, to spend on whatever measures they see best fit. I'm guessing a whole lot of wall would be included.

Apparently not. That was fairly good humor being as how it was mildly funny and rooted in some truth, as savvy humor is. I put a little smili on it in case anyone was to "high" to grasp the obvious intention.

What about an amendment that says Republicans get $7 billion for the wall, and democrats can get together and decide, and they can spend the other $7 billion on something they want?

Cut it right down the middle. 50/50 compromise.

Surely, that would pass.

I thought at one time these kinds of seizures do go back to law enforcement, maybe not in the case of Federal Law enforcement. Giving it all to the Border Patrol and allow those experts to spend on upgraded security for items they prioritize seems like the logical solution, but then again we're talking about the Federal Government.
