If we ever had a shot vs the Shockers... it would be tonight.

Well... if it resembles a basketball team with any sort of quality depth, then you will win.

If ANYONE other than Jayden Gardner produces for ECU tonight, it should be a close game.

I got to see the Shockers for the first time ever in Charleston ... but been wanting to see live in AAC. If on a Saturday, I may well have driven the two hours to Greenville.

Unfortunately it seems the best conference home games for Pirates so often fall on weeknights, sigh.

The Shox are a much different team now than the one that played in Charleston. That said, we have not won a road conference game yet. Our freshman have not yet proved they have the same confidence on the road. This will be a good test for us to see if they have truly broken through.

Correction... We have not won a road game period...

Temple by 5, but won't be surprised if UCONN wins.

WSU by 8. I think they are starting to figure some things out.

we did win a neutral game against Providence so I'm throwing them a bone there since it was away from home

While true .. that game required Duff to get 32 points on 19 attempts. We win a lot of games if that happens again.

RE: Wednesday (2/6) AAC Basketball Games
I hope ECU fans show up to this one. If Gardner plays well and Shawn Williams gets out of his awful slump, it could be a fun one.

Everyone in the building realizes that Dooley has 4 or so AAC-caliber players on the team, and 2 of them are true freshmen. Combine that with absolutely ZERO quality depth, and it results in a disaster in the AAC.

ECU fans are ready for the offseason roster purge and for Dooley to get his guys in place. This season is a definitely mulligan for Dooley.

Hope Adams is ok - hate to see that. Not a good sign that he couldn't put weight on it.
