Tampa Bay Times re-ranked their top 25 recruits of 2019 for the bay area and UT landed two players. Jerjuan Newton came in at #13 and Terrell Ferrell at #21. 3 others are signing with AAC schools and the rest (majority) with P5's. Pretty impressive group.

Don't know if this going on in the Tampa a lot, they were on local radio saying 229 HS FB players transferred schools last year in Dade and Broward counties. 71 have already transferred this year.

It's happening here too. Definitely a sign of the times. If a kid isn't starting they either quit football or transfer to another school. It's crazy...whatever happened to grinding it out and earning your playing time? At Plant, we had 6 QB's transfer in for Spring Ball last year...all but 2 transferred out, once the starter was named. If you find some OL & DL kids down there looking for PT, send them our way. We need some this year, big time.

This one stands out. I really didn't see this one happening after he received Louisville & Kansas St. offers immediately following his Toledo commitment. Kudos to Candle & staff for keeping him loyal to the midnight blue and gold.

Yes and I've been concerned for the past few years when it comes to the LB position. However, maybe we'll get lucky and land a transfer...seems to be plenty of them out there.

Toledo Football's tweet lists him as a 6'4' 255 lb. DT. Love the height but let's hope our strength program can bulk him up to 290-300 lbs. in a few years.

Looks like Toledo is his only offer & 247sports lists him as a 6'5" 216 lb. DE.

Bruce G and Cody Thompson had Toledo as their only FBS offers.
We will see.

Certainly a slower pace than the early signing day!

I'm guessing we are the "second choice" for a few guys who are waiting to see if a scholly offer gets extended to them by another school that has them as their "back up" plan if they don't get their top target(s)? In that case, may be awhile between hearing of signings?

24/7 has our class at 66 nationally and at the top of the MAC followed by Miami and wmu. They are way down in the mid 80s. But they still do not show our newest rb as being signed
