Jamie Collins
Didn't realize he was the highest paid LB in the league and has the highest 3-year contract.
Annual average salary: Jamie Collins ($12.5 million, 2017)
Three-year total: Collins ($37.3 million, 2017)

Didn’t he turn down an offer by Auburn? Oh, you are referencing mr. 12 losses. Carry on!

Wonder how much he's giving back to the University?

He probably wants to put his money someplace where he can see positive results. That’s not the University at this time.

This is so sad, but there is so much truth to it. I cannot even give a number on how much I've given over the past 33 years (not just athletics but other areas also). Some of those years I worked for a company that matched what I gave. Granted, I have not given millions, but as an individual it's significant and if that same money had been invested, I would have gotten a much better return.
The money sent to the University has by far gotten the worst return (as far as the improvements seen in any area of the University) of anything my money has gone too. My hope is that some of the kids that I help pay for their scholarship to attend, have come out with a little better life due to it. I have to tell myself constantly that the kids are why we do it. Can we improve someone's life? Otherwise, giving money to the University is as painful as shooting yourself in foot.
