Kentucky pays a visit to top 2020 recruit Jalen Green

Quote:Green has offers from most major programs, and many believe the Memphis Tigers are the current leader for his services. He took an official visit there, along with fellow recruit RJ Hampton, back in August.

Although I’m sure Big Blue Nation is not excited about another battle between Calipari and Penny Hardaway (Penny is currently 2-0), Green’s recruitment will be very different than that of DJ Jeffries and James Wiseman.

The writer hopes the recruitment will be different for Green... If Penny can take another recruit from Cal, BBN might implode.

He would be such a great Tiger! Hope we get him! Reminds me of a young Penny.

Is he still staying in the 2020 class or do we know yet?

Jalen Green now has 3 CB predictions to Memphis.... 1 to Kensucky.
Not that it means ANYTHING, but 2 of them are from the last week. Wonder if Wiseman is working on Jalen and RJ for 2019? My question is, would we take RJ and Jalen or Watford and Hurt? I really think the “unicorn” fam wants to play together.

Ehh Meyer flip flops all the time. He is only accurate the day before a decision - if there is an announcement date then don't put too much stock into Meyer.

Ehh Meyer flip flops all the time. He is only accurate the day before a decision - if there is an announcement date then don't put too much stock into Meyer.

I thought he was/is an old school recruiting dude who can be trusted?

I only find out about recruiting experts putting out their crystal ball predictions when I read it here on this board. I had heard that Jerry is a respected guy when it comes to recruiting. So, you’re saying he’s like everyone else?

Jerry Meyer is the director of recruiting for 247 sports. He also has one of the highest prediction accuracy percentages. They get credit for how many days they had a correct prediction before the official announcement. It’s not like they flip a prediction the day before an announcement and get 100% for the prediction. It’s all analytics based.
