If so Temple has to hire a new coach then. It's not unprecedented though, Chris Bead went from ULAR to UNLV to Texas Tech in a 3 week span.

Rumor mill says that Cristobal is thier first choice.

Im a tad worried about Lane. The only saving grace is that we 01-rivals the bed this year and that might make them hesitate. Butch Davis mentioned as well.

Could be interesting.

Lane and the turnover chain would be hilarious, Butch Davis would win the Coastal (I can never remember the right) division most years

My inside Source was correct, Diaz to Miami. If you didnt know Diaz father was the Mayor of Miami for many years and the connections run very deep in Miami’s establishment

Cristobal was never Miami first choice. It was Diaz job from the moment Richt resign.

Right again ECU baruna, full 10 hours before it was announced. Some Day you’ll learn to listen to Dawgxas. My source was right about the Big 12 not inviting AAC schools and right about Diaz

This is when FAU and FIU need to sniff their recruiting targets and 'work' for some transfers. Diaz will lose some kids.

From Miami? He was the DC at Miami before taking Temple HC. He might lose some from Temple but not from Miami

If Diaz loses anyone its because they aren't good enough to play at Miami. I know the 2 transfers Marshall got a few years ago from Miami in Jwan Young and Tyre Brady Diaz really tried to keep them. But they were buried on the depth chart because they were Al Golden recruits and not Mark Richt's.

I understand why Miami slid off for 8-10 years when Donna Shalala was named president she uped the admission standards for student athletes to 26 on the ACT. But she's been gone now since the end of 2015 and admission were relaxed 21. If you can't win at Miami with recruiting at 21 ACT then something is wrong.

I remember Howard Schnellenberger doing an interview right after he left FAU as HC. He said his 5 years at Miami he never went more than 42 miles to recruit a kid.

With the coaching turnover at Houston, suddenly Kendal Briles is available, would Temple take a chance on him?

Temple signed a local Charlotte QB our new coach made a hard run at right after he got the job. There were some rumors that we had flipped him but he changed his mind back to Temple. I'm hoping he will ask for a release due to Diaz leaving.
