Jenifer is 14-30 on the year. Shooting 47% from 3. That's big time and very important for this team's offensive success.

Jennifer has been better than I gave him credit for early in the year.

As have Brooks and Scott!

Really just need Broom to start playing up a level and this team can be pretty good.

Cut BC1 some slack; he predicted that score last night. 03-lmfao

I love when Twitter accounts allow a guest to take over for the day and I'm glad you emulated that. It brings fresh perspective. So who's posting for Bearcats#1 today?

his usage needs to go up. he can't only have 2 shots vs mississippi st. the team will need him to score some against our better opponents.

You know it's a good night when Williams banks in two 3 pointers and another one goes in getting the "shooter's roll" after hitting the front of the rim. Not that Williams isn't a baller and wasn't going to get his, but those type shots are the ones X usually hit against us.

I'm conflicted on this. I agree it would be nice if he took more shots than against Mississippi State, but I think part of what has allowed Jenifer to thrive is he understands his strengths and limitations. He picks his spots well, takes good shots, protects the ball and does a good job getting good shots for others by making the right pass.

yes but if he has truly improved his offense then his usage has to go up over last year. its barely any higher. this team needs some scoring from the PG position vs better competition.

to me its a question of do you trust that he's made a big leap. if you believe he has, then you have to use it. if he really is a good 3 point shooter (around 40%) he's gotta shoot more than 2 a game.

I agree; run those plays passing the ball from the inside out for him given his three point accuracy. A dozen points a game consistently from JJ makes this offense much more balanced and will help when defenders double down on Cumberland. Last night's balanced scoring was wonderful, but a bit of an aberration this season. More balanced scoring and this team's upside improves dramatically.

Great night. Not much else to say.

Ditto to this--my first time. I'll go so far to say the arena is spectacular--the best collegiate one I've been in personally.

My only complaint, and I'll drop a note to Mike Bohn about this, was the audio volume in the upper deck on the prerecorded music was deafening. My ears are ringing more this morning than the morning after the Emerson, Lake and Palmer concert back in my misspent youth. Less recorded music and more of our pep band would be in order.

Think that performance last night sealed Alford's fate? When he gets canned, we could use him here as recruiting coordinator. But seriously, the 'Cats made us all proudly Cincinnati last night--congratulations to players and coaches for a fine performance.

Agree on the music. Im not sure how it sounds down low, but in the upper sections its obnoxious. Im assuming the "all rap" selection is for players and recruits which is fine for me if thats what they like. Rabble rabble rabble, 1st world white guy complaints.

As for the performance on the court, that was as fluid a Mick Cronin offense I have ever seen. If we can play like that the rest of the way this team may make us all eat some crow.

Is there anywhere I can watch the replay? I know youtube usually has them, but I don't think it's been uploaded. This will be one to watch when I am having a bad day! and being at the game-the crowd was phenomal-very high energy.
