Tech doesn't care about basketball. He'll probably get an extension like he did here..

They can’t afford to buy him out. Fortunately for GT, Paul Johnson retired, so they don’t have to buy him out. That saved them some money, so maybe they can buy Josh out next year.

But, but, he was ACC coach of the year!

https://gtswarm.com/threads/fire-cjp.16859/

One guy says he would cut him some slack if he were able to recruit.

another says something about the postgame interview not helping him.

Guess they are getting sick of the "hall of fame coach" "runs good stuff" BS he feeds people.

It is also interesting several comments about the off court issues. I have to admit, off court issues was never something I thought Pastner would run into that would cause problems with his career.

This is golden. Wonder if Stammers will go on this board and create a dozen or so fake profiles to defend him.

I feel bad because pastner is one of the nicest guys I’ve met in basketball. I have no ill will towards him and hope he turns it around/becomes successful. The Tubby era made me realize that Pastner was at least trying

I didn't need the Tub to know how hard Pastner was working and trying. That was the one thing that I could easily respect about him. Unfortunately, he is proof hard work can only go so far. He could be one of the best assistants in basketball, but he will always be a poor head coach.

Hopefully, nobody will create a fake profile like the idiot in Texas that stole your exact profile, said he wasn't a fan anymore, and didn't even realize until the next day, that we played a game 15 minutes away from him.

Come on stammy. You’ll earn a lot of respect on here if you’ll just utter these 3 words. “I was wrong.” It can actually be a little liberating sometimes, to admit that you were wrong about something or someone.

I am thankful Pastner ran a clean program, performed good deeds, and made the NCAA Tourney and advanced twice. I wish him well, but I am very pleased Penny is our coach now.

These last 10 years Josh has earned more money than most folks could ever imagine. Moreover, I could totally see him making six figures as an ESPN color announcer...or maybe ACC network.

He has it made in the shade.

I will not tarry long in the past, but the idea espoused by some posters at the time that we could do no worse than Pastner were misguided and mistaken.
