Sophomore point guard and former 5 star Quade Green. He wasn't starting but he was getting about 17 minutes a game it sounds like. Sort of unusual for this to happen mid-season I'd think. Wonder if there's a back story.

The odd thing is that Kentucky has struggled a bit shooting the three this year and he was shooting 42% from 3.

It baffles me how a kid would want to walk away from the privilege of playing for a HOF coach that has an amazing track record of preparing kids for the NBA... and is the only blue blood left that does it clean

Leaving the team and requesting transfer now will allow him to be eligible to play for another team next December.

I believe this will be happen a lot more often now that kids can get a red shirt if only play in a certain percentage of games.

What's changed is Coach K going after all top tier one and dones. Until then, Cal dominated that market. Since then K has.
