I just think if it were Ivey it would have already been announced. That would be easy. I also think if it were Ivey we would wait to offer him until after the bowl to see how the players respond to him. I know nothing about who it is either but I feel like it is going to be Gattis.

Of Course not. Scoop relies on knowing one person in the meetings whose willing to tell them what was said.
So the question is, how tight lipped is the App Athletic Department on this search.
Evidently very...

Yes it is very tight lipped. Usually we know something or know who to find to get the information. This is the most tight lipped I have ever known our administration to be. The silence is deafening.
I’d be getting a little nervous if I was an Appy fan right now.

In my reading of Doug Glenn (DG) comments, it seems like it will be Horton. If so, there will be many Horton hearing Who's jokes made.
However, unless he has the mind of an executive and has taken more responsibility than recruiting and as a position coach at Auburn, I'd be unsure as to how this would shake out.
I prefer Lane Kiffin.

It's Joey Freshwater, not Joey Icewater.

Did Shawn Clark go with Scott Satterfield? Can't find anything about the confirmed Louisville assistants other than Brown.

No on Clark. Satt nabbed Ledford from NC State instead.
Frank Ponce, Bryan Brown, and Mike Sirignano. So far.

So you simultaneously think two things that completely contradict each other?

Yeah no. I think what I was trying to say there if it were Ivey he either would have been announced way early or way late. Since we have a BOT meeting now I don’t think it’s Ivey because at this point we would wait till after the bowl.

Yeah, we had that too in the past. Listening to who they were sure it was going to be because of a random flight from somewhere was kind of funny to follow.

Yeah, we used to do the same thing. Even snooped enough to figure out the tail numbers for the actual plane we used a few years back, but pretty quickly found out that in almost every case, the coach didn't get on the plane until the school had already announced the hire.
It didn't even help with interviews because we'd quickly find out that our AD sometimes flew commercially randomly during the process.
