Truly a power move by a power 6 university. USF students will have their bodies powered by Publix subs and produce. The meal plan just saw a powerful expansion.

Is Strong going to walk all his new recruits through Publix? I’m sure that will get them to sign that LOI......

I'm not sure why this is a big deal.

Considering most USF students grow their own food and make their own clothes... this is big.

Awesome overpriced groceries for kids that can't afford it...lol

Maybe it’s a Florida thing but Publix individually wraps each slice of deli cheese and it’s annoying to unwrap.

This might be the last hurdle the BIG 12 was waiting on.

We just got a local Publix last week. As a kid growing up in South Florida, I loved their bakery. Got some cookies last week and they are as good as I remembered.

And BC1 gives Pirate fans all kinds of $*** for threads.....

Yep no difference than the Publix on McCullough that is on the other side of the trail by Lake Claire. I think a Pollo Tropical on Campus is more cool

We have one of those, too, but [hot take]Pollo Tropical sucks[/hot take]. There are literally a hundred better Cuban restaurants you can find.

PubSubs are for real though...this is a strong move by Publix (HQ located down the road in Lakeland, FL).

A new Walmart just opened about a mile from my house.

On campus grocery shopping is required at USF since it's very dangerous to venture out into the area surrounding USF.

Drop USF add Publix

Jokes aside, this will be viewed as a very positive move by lots of potential students and faculty.

Honest question: will the prices be the same as any other Publix? Sometimes the on-campus stores have everything increased by 10-20%
