Yes, and Jalen Perry was the lead singer for Journey. Anderson McCoy used to be the doctor on the original Star Trek and Jeremiah Bell invented the telephone.
Waiting for a certain person on here to claim Zack is related to the Bear. Anyway its great that someone can overhear the wrong information in the Green and Gold room and y'all criticize him for relaying it then proceed to run with it. Lol

Could you either delete the thread saying he is transferringor at least edit the title.
Poor Answer. This will really bum him out
I will, but for the record, our Bryant did threaten to transfer after being suspended
Well, that sucks. The game overall sucked, and the sucking started before the game when the UNA cheerleaders wouldn't sit and blocked my view.
I was surprised how much size UNA seemed to already have. I do hope this turns into an annual game with them...I'd like an excuse to go up there for a game.
UAB dropped 8-10 spots in KenPom down to 186 after last night's performance.

RE: North Alabama game thread
there is no reason for UAB to travel to UNA. They can come here every other year. That would be sufficient.

Seems like the UNA cheerleaders must have had some size if your view was blocked.

I agree in general, but winning in Florence, Alabama is not impressing the committee.
Yeah, I don't think it matters about home/way with the conference we are in. We have to win the conference tournament in order to dance.

RE: North Alabama game thread
Only 9 UAB turnovers for the game was an impressive statistic, and adding it to the fact that Bryant, who averages 30 minutes per game was absent. Obviously the team played a bit more deliberate to adjust to lack of Bryant. There are some really good athletes on the team, more athletic than last year, especially in the guard category. They have a lot of potential. Bryant is going to have to cut down on his turnovers and his assist to turnover ratio is only 1:1 after 8 games. Also he has only hit the boards to grab 2 offensive rebounds in 210 minutes of playing time. He has a lot riding on his shoulders playing 30+ minutes per game, plain and simple.

RE: North Alabama game thread
North Alabama has a few competitive losses in their 2-7 record.
Samford clobbered them 91-74, and in the second half led by 33.
However, they lost at St. Louis by only 11.
They lost at Pittsburg by only 5 points, and were actually tied with 11 minutes remaining.
North Alabama lost at Troy by 19.
They lost at Toledo by 21.
They hosted Jacksonville State and lost by 11.
UAB won by 6.

Remember Ehsan didn't start him for the Cansius game and he didn't play many minutes against Alabama A&M. After the Alabama A&M, he tweeted "STG (Swear to God) I'm ready to go home"

Let him go then. We don’t need any prima donnas, no matter how good they are. I tweeted last week that he could be UAB’s #1 scorer by the end of his UAB career. He hit the like button, but then immediately unliked it.
UAB has had talented players in the past that thought they were the only player that counted. Terrance Roderick comes to mind. Ehsan's test as to a good coach is going to be whether he makes Bryant a team player, puts up with his selfish and immature ways, or sends him on his way.
He may be doing more damage to the team now than if he was gone.
Ehsan's test is going to be if his team can start winning some games they shouldn't, with or without Bryant. Got a couple of good opportunities coming up. Memphis would be nice but AU would be downright huge, for Ehsan and UAB.

It is hard enough to beat a team from the SEC, much less one that has been allowed to break all kinds of rules.
I'm sure we will give it our best shot & the media will continue to ignore the wrong doings going on with that program.

We know all that but the general public (and the not-so-diehard UAB fans) doesn't and if they did they probably wouldn't care. All they will see is UAB losing three straight to Auburn (if that happens).
Beating AU is definitely a stretch. I would settle for a competitive game at this point. I do think Memphis is beatable. I know players love him but can Penny actually coach?

Where have you been? Auburn has been crushed by the media since it hired Pearl. The amount of nonfactual reporting done regarding the FBI thing was insane. Reporters clearly didn't read the FBI report and just ran with it that the whole program is dirty. It drives me crazy how much this board is only focused on Auburn being a dirty program instead of working on making their own team better.
