When they built Foreman Field in the 1930s, they must have driven piles then also. It doesn't look like they removed those original piles, even if they could. So now they want to put in another 600+ piles. Sounds like driving new piles so close to old piles would add to the complication of this construction.

Looks like they are driving piles! Also looks like the cleared a house and the lot across bluestone for a staging area. I wonder what they are going to do with that lot after construction is done?

I've got a pocket theory that ODU's going to be buying up a lot of the homes surrounding the stadium over the next 20 years. I bet they'll keep it green space or something for now.

I wonder how the locals are dealing with the late night piledriving?

I don’t like the ground level entrance on the east stands in the corner. Looks tacky but I think that would be removed one day.

I’m pretty sure the plan has always been no pile driving at night.

So is the plan to have 4 light towers on the east side & 2 on the west? I thought they may add 2 more to the west once complete.
