Kornblau coming in hot.

Barry Kornblau is a great man. He is loyal to this institution far beyond his financial commitments (which are obviously significant). He cares so deeply about this place and has done so without a ton of fanfare for a long time. I very much look forward to giving him the standing ovation tonight he has deserved for a long time.

Yes they definitely raised the bar. Exciting time to be a Monarch.

I was told about 2 other major donors that they were discussing a donation with. If they land both, we could hit $40 before you know it.

You read my mind. I was curious too. If its too expensive may be we ca get that done in stages but yeah that exposed metal makes it look cheap but i am not gonna complain with how much of an upgrade this will be over that old piece junk east and west stands were. Good times indeed.

From what I was told, we will use these donations to pay down the debt for phase 1. Their goal is to pay it off as quickly as possible.

They want to pay down the debt so they can then borrow for the next phase.

See this is conflicting to me and why I wish ODU would come out and announce their plan for the stadium. We have heard that work could start as early as next year on the north endzone but there is no way they can pay off Phase 1 by next year.

ODU needs to come out with a full anticipated timeline for the stadium.

I don't think they intend to pay it fully down, just enough to earn some goodwill with the folks in Richmond.

Add a scoreboard and replace the seating. But no details are known beyond that.

Seriously doubt this animated rendering fully depicts the finished product. we've seen plenty of renderings with banners and other decorative coverings.

It doesn't, just shows all of the structural elements

Does anyone know if there will be a concourse with amenities between the lower and upper levels? At FAU there isn't .... Only a walkway. All amenities were in the ground level.
