When will they learn? We don't get particularly upset when we lose to NIU or particularly up when we win. You're not a rival. Just another school, another team in the league.

Best wishes moving on. Represent.

Gotta wonder what attendance will look like. Didn't I read that NIU had just over 5K for their game at home against us? Buffalo is a long way from Detroit too. Sure hope the cameramen know how to get shows of the field without showing the stands, because it could be quite empty at the MACC this year. I still think we should go back to best record team hosts the MACC.

Move it to First Energy Cleveland.

No. Please never again. Keep it in Detroit...

Having it indoors that week is the best deal for fans. Too bad it isn't the following week and it would line up with Noel Night in downtown Detroit. It would make it worth it for fans to stay over on Saturday night.

In addition, most of the teams in the MAC will still not draw well for a game the first week of December - especially if it is at noon and televised on ESPN2. Ford Field is an easy drive for a number of schools (especially Toledo which had a nice crowd last year - and more importantly, for me) - but it just so happens this year a couple of teams that are the furthest from Detroit will be in the game.

UB and NIU, shame on you people if you can't get 10,000 from each school in Detroit. Don't tell me the distance to travel either.

Has Toledo ever brought 10,000 fans to DeKalb? Or even 1,000?

I'll admit I'm disappointed in the NIU crowds - wasn't so bad the first couple MACC games we had, I think it was somewhat less for the later ones. Considering our home crowds lately, it's a concern. The place is cavernous enough even with 10K from each school.

I wish Detroit got behind the game, but it seems like people in Detroit don't even know the game is happening.

If the MAC West championship was on a weekend in a domed Huskie Stadium you bet your ass we bring 10k, let alone 10k in our own stadium.

No offense, but going to Detroit on a Friday is not on my bucket list of things that appeal to me. NIU could end up playing in the MACC for the 7th time in the last nine years and played in a bowl game there last season. We've been to Detroit a lot and it's kind of old already.

Including last year's Quick Lane Bowl, the Huskies are 3-4 in trips to Detroit. So I can see why you wouldn't want be 3-5 in the Motor City. It would be another long trip home for you.

Kind of like Toledo’s last two bowls in Alabama ... 03-banghead

Would 10,000 people take the day off of work for the trip? Seems unlikely.

Camellia Bowl was a game the Rockets lost.
Dollar General looked like a number of players partied it up the night before.
Looked like staff focused on the early signing class and not so much the Bowl game. Intensity dropped after the MACC.

Rockets should start whoever gives them the best chance to win out(8-5).
A BGSUX and Bowl win still would make this season tolerable.

Plenty of dropped catchable passes this season.

UT has gone from #1 and #2 in the nation in TFL Allowed and Sacks Allowed in 2015-16 season to #48 and #94 in 2018-19. Last season they were #13 and #36.
