Congrats to you guys, played a lot harder and have turned your season around.

Thanks! We never put the game away. You just ran out of time. Good luck the rest of the way!

Our defense sucks bro. You guys actually play defense and for the most part our offense has not been good lately.

Exciting game, Cougars. We were basically healthy and you weren't. That was probably the difference.

The fans that left early were nuts. Anybody watching could see that a 21 point lead wasn't going to be enough.

Our OL is patchwork with 2 freshmen playing. Depleted lines on both sides.

The fans know this team doesn’t have the ability to overcome a deficit that large. This is the worst defense in UH history and the coach is just as bad.

I'd like to remind everyone that the 6th ranked team in the country, Oklahoma, has giving up 93 (46.5) total points in their last two games, against a 5 and 4 team (soon to be 5 and 5) and a 5 and 5 team.

Difference is that was against power 5 schools.

Huh? So the 6th ranked team is supposed to give up that many points to 5 and 5 power teams. How many points are they supposed to give up against top 10 teams? Top 5 teams? 70? 80?

Hey man its what it is. Power 5 schools recruit better and have better talent.

Just saying that only a handful of teams in the entire nation have a really good defense. Rule changes over the years, along with flag happy refs, have defenders reacting instead of attacking, like they did in the old days. The rule changes never help the defenses. It's just a different game than it used to be.

Big loss for Houston no doubt but I was thinking of Henessey going down last week and our OL starting two freshmen. Think our OL gonna be good for a while. And we’re bowl eligible!

No. Major has turned us into a soft finesse team. You guys still play hard nosed toght football like we did when Herman was here. Temple is by far the tougher team. We are done. Our last 2 games are pretty much meaningless at this point. Play the depth players and try to get to get healthy for the Frisco Bowl against Miami Ohio. 04-cheers

Applewhite has single handily set this program back a decade, and thats not an over-exaggeration.

Nahh. Our defense was a joke all year. Hell, even tonight it took our brilliant DC 2 and half quarters to move a safety down into the box....and even then he only did it sporadically. He's a complete moron that wasted 2 years of Olivers Coog career.

I think he would have played it out without the injury. If you’re correct and he doesn’t play another college game congratulations to Houston and Ed Oliver it was a pleasure watching him play.
