We don't usually have one of these, so I figured I would get one going. Maybe it will get a bit more action swirling around on this board.

My Prediction:

UAB 38
UTSA 17

I don't think we can pitch the shutout, and I feel like we are due for a little bit of a let down after playing at such a high level on so many consecutive weeks. I think we get up early, sub in Johnston, and coast while they pick up a few garbage time touchdowns. Luckily for us this season, "coasting" is an 80 yard, 12 play drive taking up 7 minutes of game clock.

I think Street has a breakout game with 80 yards, as we scheme him into the open field a time or two. Doesn't quite score, as we get close and either Spencer gets to walk it in, or AJ does.

Donnie Lee catches his first touchdown pass of the season.

Starling has a return of over 50 yards. That kid is FAST

Dragons- 24
Roadrunners- 14

I think we win, but I'd take the Roadrunners with the points.

Defense is fired up, but UTSA gets a turnover in FG range and a fluke TD pass in the 4th quarter.

Erdely is better but not 100%

I look for the Blazers to jump out, then coast...UTSA gets some points later.
UAB wins 24-10 in a game that doesn’t feel as close as the score

I'm not sure we don't pitch another goose egg - UTSA offense isn't exactly lighting it up vs what we've faced but there's the chance of turnover deep in our own territory & they're already in fg range.

I think UTSA can put 10-14 on us. I think their defense is at least as stout if not slightly better than the UTEP defense we just played. If the turnover battle is even I see us winning by 17, say 27-10 Blazers

I normally don’t make predictions on games, but what the heck.

Spencer Brown runs for 174 yards and three touchdowns. Erdely passes for 139 yard and two touchdown Ms but throws one interception. Vogel gets a 42 yard field goal.

UTSA is ranked dead last in total offense BTW

I go back and forth on this game similar to UTEP.

I’m confident our defense can hold them but I am less confident our offense can consistantly move the ball. This could be a very low scoring game.

I think it’s 19-7 good guys win

Yeah, the bye week is why it will be close. Two weeks to rest up and gameplan makes a big difference.

I changed it to UTSA. Frank Wilson is the HC but I guess you missed that.

I think UTSA covers the spread and we win by 17. I'll go with 27-10. We have success running the ball and get Erderly some rest while Johnston plays most of the 2nd half. Defense plays well only giving up one real drive ending in a field goal. UTSA either gets a short field from a turnover or a long return for their TD.
