Of course it deserves its own thread. I have no idea why people get mad about people starting threads on a free public message board lol.
Good stuff. Thanks for posting.

Damn, he had to bring up only scoring 28 against UAB.

Last year was definitely bad. Lots of games to choose from. But UCONN's worst performance in the past decade (that I can remember) was the final game of the 2013-2014 regular season, where a ranked UCONN lost to a ranked Louisville by over 30 points.
UCONN then went on to win the National Championship less than a month later.

Looks like a loss to USF accounted for a number of teams' worst games.

He did. At the time, I thought that game was an unmitigated disaster. Not so much now, lol.

That was the only home game I went to last season. I fully blame myself for that loss.

It's hard to argue with the choice that was made for UC.

The UC/Nevada game heretofore shall be referred to as the “Game that shall not be named”.

Actually, I disagree with that being our "worst" performance. Biggest choke? Yeah. Worst performance ... no way.
Everybody forgets that we absolutely kicked their a** for 3/4 of that game. The first half, Nevada looked like a jr. high team against us.
However, I seem to remember a game in (I think) 2012 against the Presbyterian Blue Hose that might fit the bill.

Good luck. I want to forget disasters (eg, 4th and 27), but it is seared in my mind.

RE: AAC basketball teams worst performance in the last decade
For USF, pretty much the entire last half-decade counts. It feels like a lifetime ago (even though it was less than 7 years ago) that USF finished the 2012 season tied for 4th place in the Big East regular season, beat Nova in MSG before falling to Notre Dame in OT in the quarterfinals, getting an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament, beating Cal (in Dayton) and Temple in the dance before dropping a heartbreaker to Ohio (we led most of the way, not falling behind until the under 8 timeout in the 2nd half) that kept us from reaching the Sweet 16.
In the subsequent years, we've lost 19, 20, 23, 25, 23 and 22 games thanks to the presumably misguided firing of Stan Heath and the unmitigated disaster of replacing him with Orlando Antigua.

Have to agree losing to USF in the NCAA was a terrible loss. It was an unbearably bad basketball game. Dunphy should have been on double secret probation after that one.
