mturn and Drunkard are apparently both drinking out of the same moonshine jug. (Either that, or they've conspired to prank the rest of us.) Both have picked the ODU Monarchs as their week seven official picks.

So this contest will either go on for another week, if the Monarchs win in Bowling Green, or we will need to consult with Grommet on his tie-breaking rules if we lose.

Well, Stockstill got hurt again and the other teams I haven't picked yet are awful and facing stiffer competition. So this was my best bet.

If they both go down, it's a mulligan.

Yeah, I was looking at MT too or USM but I'd be in a bind next week so I figured I'd go out in a blaze of glory. Plus I think the Monarchs can win this one.

Did I hear it right? You're going to do a similar contest for basketball?

I could see this elimination contest format being adapted to CUSA mbb conference play, and think it could be fun.

I'd be willing to handle the bookkeeping duties. (The main challenge that I foresee would be in getting picks timely submitted between the Thursday and Saturday games.)

But I will defer to Grommet. It's his brainchild.
