It was a close call, not that upset about that play. The missed PI on 3rd down and the garbage roughing the passer are annoying though.

RE: South Alabama @ GS HOCO Game Thread
The refs missed a hold/tackle on the LT on the called back TD catch. Maybe I missed it but t looked like the WR’s toe touched in bounds first before the heel came down out of bounds, how is that not ruled a TD? The reason I ask is that I’ve seen many times where a WR drags their toe on the sideline for a completion.

I just wish they would stick to calling the game and stop trying to predict every single play.

I know this sounds like poor sportsmanship, but these announcers may be the worst I’ve ever listened too.

It's a local sports director at a Savannah news station and some other dude. They've improved from the first game but yeah... Hopefully they get better with more experience.

The guy with the distinctive voice is someone I've heard doing some games on TrueBlueTV in other sports. He must work with the school or be a student.

My only gripe was when he started referring to a local high school game as an example of a comeback if SA could get on a run. It made the broadcast sound pretty bush league.

He can throw well enough for what we need. 10 yards per attempt and zero interceptions.

And he can hit an open RB on a wheel route for a 61 yard touchdown. What else can you ask for?
