RE: 2019 Men's Basketball Recruiting
Charlie Weber is taking an official visit to West Virginia this weekend. I hope we don't find other targets gone in the event our commitment to Cozart doesn't come to fruition soon.

RE: 2019 Men's Basketball Recruiting
A coach for Morehead State and the video coordinator at UNCW started following Cozart. Don’t know if this is a last ditch effort to get his attention or Cozart has an official or two scheduled ahead; I remember seeing a couple of Charlotte accounts start following him before he took his official there.

Unless a flurry of new activity comes, should come down to W&M, Charlotte, or Belmont. I think the plan, the same with all of our offers, is to commit early.

I wouldn't be surprised if Cozart is trying to set up his final 2 visits, though I'm not sure that the recent UNCW commit wasn't for the same spot and takes them out of the race.

Would not rule out Eastern KY, his backyard school.

Cameron Brown has his official with Towson this weekend. If he leaves without a commitment, he is scheduled to have his official here the weekend of Oct 5th.

Interesting since Cozart just took an unofficial there on Sept. 4.

So, mathematically speaking based on the presently scheduled official visits, Tribe has a 50 percent chance of landing Brown and a 25 percent chance of getting Cozart.

It feels like all of the 2019 early signing eggs are in the Cozart / Brown baskets. I have a feeling if we don't land them, attention will turn to the late signing period.

Got to get kids to commit earlier, earlier offers, earlier attention, need to change the strategy a little bit.

I get anxious about our recruits as well, but so far Tony and company have been doing a good job of landing kids and improving the level of our talent. While I'd like to see every class filled with 5 star recruits the first day of early commitment period, I'm just going to consume Tums and trust our staff to continue their good work.
