Oddshark had Troy beat Nebraska handedly. Here is their projection for Saturday's game.

I think that could be about right.

If their QB is out it might not even be 21 for them

Carpenter (freshman) is probably a better athlete than Anderson (injured senior) but doesn't have as much experience. Carpenter makes some awesome plays but hasn't played much and seems to get a little confused at times. If he can be fully comfortable then I don't think we'll see much of a drop off.

LSU finished with a Massey composite rank of 22. That is the best win for the Sun Belt over the last 4 years. However, Nebraska is currently 103 so I’m not sure why it’s included. Are you talking strictly about wins over names?

Moglia said they’ll decide on Saturday whether Anderson plays or not, but he hasn’t practiced this week. I doubt he plays.

You so badly want us to. And can’t stand we beat our P5 03-lmfao

It was Nebraska....come on man.

I would be careful, ECU wouldn’t even beat Nebraska this year.

They might. Scottie Mo I thought should've been fired in Week 1. The seasons following Ruffin McNeil's departure have been laughable and much less than a disappointment to the expectations built up by Skip Holtz, Ruffin, and Lincoln Riley. However, I would put UNC on the same level as Nebraska, most likely, and ECU held them to around 70 yards in the second half of their game and put it away easily.

They also played USF close last week in a defensive game which isn't the norm in Greenville to say the least. Things may be turning around but I still would prefer that Scottie not be the answer to that turnaround, especially considering that a fellow alumn was fired after one down season after losing many star players and Lincoln Riley.

ECU lost to NC A&T&A&M or sth, that's all I need to know...and beating UNC at home is not exactly the same thing as going to Lincoln and beating Nebraska in front of 90,000 people...

Nebraska is 103 in the Massey Ratings. But hey, why let facts get in the way of a good story?

Just an anecdote regarding the value of the Nebraska win...I went over to Sting Talk (Georgia Tech board) and they've got a thread going talking about replacements for Paul Johnson. I saw Neal Brown mentioned several times and Scott Sattrfield wasn't mentioned once even though he might very well solidify himself as the #1 coach in the SBC after this season. Bad Power 5 team? So what, Nebraska is still a name team and these wins give you visibility.

Same deal with our win over Florida. I never talk about it talking CFB with non-Southern fans, but other people bring it up.

The Nebraska win is still something we can use for recruiting. It’s not impressive by itself but given we beat a ranked LSU just the year before makes it more impressive.

Nebraska would probably fall as maybe our 3 biggest P5 win. Maybe 4th or even 5th. Depends how they do rest of the year.

We all know Nebraska isn't a powerful team, yet there are still a couple of posters who want to keep beating that horse, and make sure no one is unaware of just how bad they are.
