His playcallings consists of run up the middle or bomb down the sideline. No use of the middle of the field on passes. Long bombs. Which puts an already poor offensive line in more trouble.

I pull for every player on Western and think our fg kicker ryan Nuss is a great kid but I don’t think he has a 48 yarder in him on his best day. And certainly not when there’s a bad high snap to the holder.

I had us picked to go 3-9 before the season. Unfortunately this was one of the 3 wins.

Sanford has to be the biggest moron in college football. Scratch that. Football period! Up 2 touchdowns with 2 minutes to go in the first half and we go for it on 4th and 6 at around the 45 yard line. We don’t make it and Maine has a short field and ends up scoring to make it a 7 point game at the half. That completely turned the game around.

If that wasn’t bad enough, he later goes for it on 4th and 1 at our own 15-20 yard line with the score tied. We don’t make it and Maine scores the go ahead TD. Stupid, stupid, stupid. He’s got to go.

I hope like hell the AD gets fired for not firing this coach. Not only that but giving this idiot a rollover 4th year after a losing season in 2017. So Western will have to eat 1.2 million, oh, that's another great move by a idiot AD that thought it was a good ideal to hire a idiot that wanted to change the best offense in college football. Any ways our idiot AD thought it was a great ideal to give someone without any head coaching experience, who was getting fired at ND, the largest first year contract in Western's history and with a 18 month buyout....

I didn't have a problem with going for it on 4th down but why run the ball up the gut when you have not gained much at all that way. I don't recall Echols running the ball until late in the 4th.
The stands cleared out fast when the ball was handed off right up the middle for no gain when you are at you own 15.

But he got brohm because of Petrino. Had a plan when hiring Petrino to hire his successor. Brohm was going to have trouble sooner or later he has he couldn’t recruit at all. He was winning with taggarts players and petrinos. Only hope for him was staying at a lower level where players fall through he cracks and he can develop them for his system (which he did very nicely) I think he will fail miserably at Purdue. He should have waited for a higher profile school that the name of the school would help him recruit. I don’t give this coach a pass at all I think he shouldn’t have gotten the job in the first place. (Notre dame offense was terrible with him as OC)
I think he should be fired this year if he doesn’t win more than three games. If it’s true he has a forever auto renewing contract might as well happen ASAP.
