Maybe so, but you can't tell it so far this season.

Yeah, the Ball State game was in Indiana.
1. Ball State led most of that game. We played from behind for most of it.
2. We didn’t give up, despite how much we were getting trounced. We ended up with 100+ more total yards than them by the game’s end.
3. We certaintly didn’t embarrass ourselves on the field with a complete lack of discipline and class.
The way the games played out and the problems shown in the games are very, very different between the two.
We got blistered by 20+ points in an away game on the he second week of the season out of conference. It was penalties and turnovers against Ball St.
Curious, did you actually watch the game that just happened or just listen to it?
It honestly seems like you didn’t actually watch it.
. Of course I didn't watch the game. I was struck blind by your football wisdom.
You're right, there a zero similarities between the Ball State game and this one tonight.
There, now you can claim an argument win for the week. Good night.

I didn't say there were zero similarities. I was arguing against the claim it was "identical". You are crazy if you think this game was just another Ball State game. That goes for Clark too. If Clark treats this game like another Ball State game this week, it won't fix the issues we had tonight. Despite what he may have said on the radio tonight immediately following the game, I think his attitude will change before practice after watching game tape.

Road game, second week, out of conference, self inflicted wounds, our offense stagnated, their QB converts every third down in the 2nd half, we lose by 20+,. That's what I was working off of in my agreement with FN's statement.

Don’t have that problem with basketball.....yet.
I did see that. You were told by the coach’s son to stop posting or be positive. After that kind of beat down.
I didn’t know whether to respond or not. Tried to do so respectfully. I haven’t attacked anybody individually and try not to do so. Social media probably isn’t the right place for em just like it’s probably not a good idea to sit with fans at games if you’re a coach’s/refs spouse or players parent. Twitter is the best place to discuss the ball game at home with other blazer fans. Many times it’s one liners and no discussion. some things are gonna be blunt.

I’ve watched Coach Clark’s teams since his first game at Prattville. Hands down the ugliest I’ve seen. I’ve also got confidence he’ll get it fixed.
AJ is a good game manager, but IMHO he’s inconsistent as a passer. With 2 young talented QB”s on our he roster I’m wondering if we get an early season change like we did when we shifted from Thomas Cox to DHack

As good as he looked throwing the ball last week (and yes, I understand that it was against Savannah St.). I was surprised that he didn't put Johnston in when we got the ball back at 5 minutes or so. We needed two scores in five minutes and A.J. simply did not throw the ball well today.

To use an FN analogy, we are shareholders of a company that missed its earnings. Nothing wrong with being disappointed in the 40-3 finish tonight.

I’ve never thought AJ was a good qb. I wasnt a fan of his last year and he’s not done anything yet to win me over this season. He’s a game manager at best. He’s not gonna be the guy to put the game on his shoulders and carry a team.
Also, his mustache is stupid.

The team hasn't played well since the UTSA game last season.
Lost 3 out of our last 4 (FBS). This weeks game is critical. Can't let this snowball downhill.

Those things are similar, yes. We followed a first-game blowout of an FCS team at home with a 20 point road loss to a team we should have beaten.
But last year, at this point, we were still trying to find out who we were, had never played on the road, and we fought to the end.
This one was different in that we are now an experienced team--one of the oldest in all of college football--playing against the youngest (at least that's what they said on that dreadful TV broadcast)--with a winning season under our belt and even higher expectations for this season. And, we played without any sense of urgency or discipline, we seemed to have worn out before they did (despite our depth), and in the end, we quit.
We have one of the easiest D-I schedules in the country, and play in a conference that seems to get worse every year, so we still have a chance. But if we play like that last night, we will be fortunate to go 3-9.

Someone has to step up in the locker room and take ownership of the team. Everyone seems to be looking around on the field waiting for it but there's no one stepping up and holding people accountable.

Actually run the ball, and split carries better to keep Spencer B. fresher.
Give the reins to Johnston, got 9 great older WR's not really getting the ball like they should.
Keely back at DL, he's not a Jack. Otoh Garcia-Williams is
Brock Thomas,Diggs, and Harris should stay a bit more on the field

How is that possible without a bunch of rules and mods?
