I hate to say I told you so.
The lawyer calling trial by jury compromised lolol.
That’s what that’s called.
Jesus you love to show off how damn dumb you are.
But, I’m glad I didn’t bet you on the outcome.
Wouldn't matter he'd welshed on it.

Exactly....This is like Groundhog Day, or Charlie Brown and Lucy with the football. It's almost comical how our leftist friends, generally fueled by a corrupt MSM, get a big ole throbbin chubby goin every time one of these snipe hunts comes along........I get the impression that Trump just loves this shyte.
You're right. It does make me happy when felons get their comeuppance. Does it make you sad when criminals see their crimes get punished?
all politicians, past, present and their supporters should undergo the same scrutiny
Agreed.
Let's have someone from the RNC or a Republican "agent" create a dossier containing fake information claiming something as ridiculous as "collusion" about a demmie then use that dossier as "proof" of illegal activity in order to have a special counsel investigation launched.
From there, we can put every person remotely connected to that person thru the ringer examining every aspect of their life, even those that happened BEFORE their involvement with said candidate in order to get "convictions".
How can ANYONE who claims to value the legal process think THAT is perfectly acceptable?
Just the idea of using fake/untrue information as the basis for instituting investigations reeks of star chamber justice.
For all the people yucking it up over the convictions, remember this....
What comes around goes around. YOU set the standards so don't be surprised if it comes back to bite you in the backside.
Think Harry and his nuclear option for judges......
They never even let their mind consider that question.

Don't forget Biden introducing the rule that a lame duck president can't appoint a Supreme Court Justice in 1992.

Had to google. Legal term.
Quote:Compromise verdict refers to a verdict that is reached when the jurors, for the purpose of avoiding a deadlock, concede to some issues so that other issues will be resolved as they want. In such cases one set of jurors sides with a second in exchange for the second group agreeing on something else with the first.

Just tuning in to this thread, what does that mean?
Compromised verdict? Meaning 8 guilty charges, 10 hung? Does that somehow matter?
Or is that, CV, something else?
Interesting

Trump was in the construction industry. The construction unions are run by the mob there. He dealt with lots of shady people as does anyone in real estate in New York City.

I provided a link as requested. The point is still that Trump’s campaign chair and personal attorney are both going to jail.
Or getting probation, or getting pardoned. We shall see. I think Cohen is going to jail, not sure about Manafort. I could see him getting probation because the judge didnt seem to think much of the prosecutions tactics. Also could see Manafort gettinh pardoned or commuted. No chance for cohen.
you can pen than in now.....it's a gimme after the mids....
it too stupid how none of all this bs has one iota to do with the 'why'.....
bye-bye.....ewe dicked yourself too....
The stink of this administration won't wash away easily.

Was he dealing with lots of shady people, or was he shady himself? That's the question. And by shady, I mean illegal.
The NY Mafia became greatly reduced in power 25 years ago. We may find that Trump's "shadiness" actually increased after that time.

Just because Manafort's prosecution was politically motivated doesn't mean he's innocent.
However, if I were Trump he'd get pardoned on my last day in office. No, he'd get pardoned the day after the Presidential election so there would be lots of time for it to stir people up.

He should be pardoned on the not reporting foreign accounts. That's a civil problem. And if the banks are whole, on the bank fraud.
He was found guilty on tax fraud. I wouldn't pardon him on that.
